The civilian population of Ukraine suffered the most from this war so far. Russian occupants do not care where they shoot, they're just shelling towns and villlages sector by sector. We need to stop this as soon as possible before even more people suffer. Ukrainian army needs all the support it can get.

I am not saying I disagree with you, but if you think about it, you cannot force both Ukrainian men and women to stay and leave their children. That is what would have repercussions. In addition, 70% of the entire population and 76% of the Ukrainian male population agree that Ukraine should continue to fight until victory is gained over Russia.

Unconditional surrender is the only way out for Ukraine. Hitler's Germany also refused to admit defeat until Hitler killed himself. Then Keitel signed unconditional surrender. In reality Zelenskyy is in a quite desperate position. Zelenskyy strategy is reduced to rounding up civilians often at gunpoint and throwing them into a meat grinder. It's obvious that these hapless and desperate people can even turn their guns against Zelenskyy instead of dying for him. Anyway you can't rely on them to hold the front that is in a very precarious state almost everywhere. Everybody understands that and gives Zelenskyy promises instead of weapons. Biden hopes to encourage Ukrainians by empty promises to hold the front for a couple of months and then probably think of something (the only realistic option is to send Poland to the slaughterhouse, but Poland so far is reluctant to sacrifice itself).

And unconditional surrender made things sooo much better for any other country in WW2. Ukraine isn't a terrorist state like Germany was. An unconditional surrender would be not so much Germany surrendering to the Allies as it would be France or Poland surrending to Germany early on in the war. It would live a life of occupation and oppression like Ukraine felt during WW2. Like it's occupied territories feel now.
