Oh shit man that's the quietest sounding most boring bike that I've had the misfortune of seeing of late but saying that it looks as though it is quite comfortable to ride but as it is so quite I would be a little afraid of falling asleep. Why can't these manufacturers put some kick arse rebellion back in bike design before petrol engines are band from our roads for ever. The thought of having to ride around on a hair dryer really makes me feel sad inside.

I grew up in the near vicinity of this shoot - basically shot between Collins Bay (the marina he points at is where my dad bought my first ATV) - the west end of Kingston - through Millhaven, Bath (passed by the Tragically Hip's Bathouse studio), Conway, Adolphustown and he would have been nearing the Glenora Ferry at the end of the shoot. Churches and corners remind me of the specific locations where I spun out (cars) in different snowstorms and driving mistakes. The long view of Amhurst Island, and Adolphus Reach across to Prince Edward County - the opening of the Bay of Quinte brings back my loyalist roots. It was quite interesting that the editing and jumpcuts chronologically 'moved' us back and forth down that stretch of road as they patched together the conversation.

I used to buy stuff from Canada's Motorcycle. In fact it is still bookmarked as such in my browser. However, being in the Quebec Townships and very close to the US border, I found I was buying most stuff from Revzilla, thanks to Anthony's " Watch decide and ride" videos. But since re branding to Fortnine and with all of Ryan's videos, I am buying my most of my stuff here now. In fact UPS is on its way to my door as I write this! Good work and fantastic production quality. Almost a million subscribers, awesome!

Here in the States I can’t order anything from Fortnine, so lots of lost revenue there, so not sure why I can see these videos, but I and so many I know love Fortnine reviews and between Fortnine and Revzilla we all have a better sense of products out there, much better than we used to know about things when we would go into the local bike store. I miss having a lot of stores around, but they could have done all this, and they didn’t. The stores here in the Bay Area, CA were all terrible except for maybe Cycle World still one could not get comprehensive notions about products. Fortnine has contributed a ton to our collective knowledge, I hope they can start moving products here in the States

Nice Scatman rif! Snowmobiles, my first powersport love. I was a Pennsylvania dairy farm kid. We had an old John Deere snowmobile. It was horrible - was difficult to keep running, etc. However, I got it running a few times and loved it. It was the late 1980s and brands like Arctic Cat were advertising. I wanted one but dad wasn't buying it. I also pushed for a dirt bike but that went just as far. Dad's view was we could pay for a lot of equipment repairs and upgrades for that. He wasn't wrong. As a result my entry was street.

Fuuny story...heading to Miramichi NB last week...on my FORTNINE.CA tires and a call came in on my new FORTNINE.CA Sena headset so I'm rolling along talking for abit....next stop my buddy rolls up and says "U alright dude...thought were taking a fucking stroke!!" Guess while I was chatting my arms were going....sound familiar? Then he says "you're like the wife...strap her arms to her side and she'd never say a fucking thing!" Funny but true and the first thing I thought of watching this vid. Great little history lesson...answers some questions that never get asked and explains alot when it comes to you. Keep the content flowing Ryan...get to the east coast!

Anyone else get that feeling that they really want to support a KZbinr? Like we watch these videos for absolutely nothing...it's free. If you want to support and appreciate the Fortnine either go for Patreon or order gear from them. Sadly they only ship to Canada which is a bummer cause I wanted to order from them for support 😬
@mikeskidmore67545 жыл бұрын
Nearest I can figure is FortNine gets a cut selling Revzilla gear in CA .. as when I try the link since I am in the USA it just re-directs me to Revzilla in USA …. My best guess is that Revzilla ships by the Truck Load to CA to FortNine then re ships to Canadian Customers.. I did notice they always post links for every product they talk about .. and thus it indicates they get some kind of a cut there ..

Yo RyanF9 (that's your official name in my mind lol), great video once again. Can't wait for the "rant" :D Oh and by the way, you got the Honda CBR 650F in CA don't you? If yes, would you consider doing a review of it, and possibly compare it to the older CBR 600F that it has replaced? In my mind, Honda screwed the bike by offering less features in the new bike, even for a steeper price. I'd really like to see your view on it, as I find you among one of the only trustworthy bike reviewers out there. I know sports bikes are not your exact love interest, but since it's more of a sports tourer, I figured you could be persuaded? :)
