I love your version of the Seaglass cardifan. I don't think it looks too bright at all, it looks like tweed because of the colours!

I just watched Inca of Knitting Traditions and she made a mini sea glass sweater for her daughter, very cute. I might have to think about one

I just found your channel by doing a search on the seaglass sweater. I'm so happy to see the progress of this knit a long. I've never done stranded or color work before, so this seems a bit indimitating. But I would love to at least track down all my wool yarn sraps and swatch! Thank you for creating such a great channel and giving me the confidence to try more complex projects.

Thanks Mark, I like your cardigan, the colours are great. It’s quite surprising how the colours merge into each other the further away you are from the subject. It’s very much like pointillism. Just a bunch of dots which make the brain view the whole. It’s fascinating. I’m not in this MKAL but I have the pattern (I have a lot of patterns 🤣 and if I finish the shawl I am working on for a friend’s wedding gift I will try to join you if you are taking late sign ups.

Hi Mark. I didn't sign up for the knit along because I was already quite a ways done my seaglass cardigan. I have however knitted the body as called for in the pattern and since finished the body and bottom ribbing began to deal with the ends. I am quite concerned since I used mostly super wash yarn, my knots are not holding tight. I tried some different fabric glues and that was not going to work. Here is hoping once I pick up the button band it will be ok.

One of the things that the ravelry group war really good for was getting me started in the cardigan. I went to their discord for help after hitting a wall very early. Their response was "read the glossary." I'm not a rude human so i didn't shout back at them "bro! I wouldn't be here if the answer was there!" Then i remembered that the Rav community might have been kinder to the lord obvious folks. Low and behold. Someone had already asked that very question and another member answered in a way that made perfect sense! I never went back to t heir discord to give them a gentle nudge. Perhaps an offline email would be better? I'm sure we weren't the only ones with that problem, and if i got that response without that community, then i wouldn't be inclined to knit anything of theirs and give them an unfavorable review when it's clear they really put a lot into it

Your sweater looks great colors are wonderful, I started the cardigan, but all of the chaos of all the ends drove me nuts, I hated it so much then realized I knit for the joy of it so I quit. Maybe I will try a hat. Your steeking information is encouraging I haven't done that yet. I am enjoying following your progress even though I gave up. Thank you for your encouraging videos.

That is a killer design - seems that no matter what color way people choose, it comes out great. The shoulder cape is beautiful and looks handy. Yours is fantastic, Mark. Enjoy.

Hey Mark! I sent you a postcard to your box 😊 from Estonia. You should be reciving it in couple of weeks. My name is Kristel. I am a 36 year old woman. The card is not from a child, even though it might look like it 😅 Happy knitting!❤

i am ~3 cm/1 inch under the sleeves, but i got a bit worried about how "long" it would take me to finish - so i switched up a bit and i am now working on the sleeve 1) even if its short i could "wear it" as a bolero style cardigan. when i have both sleeves i will go back to work on the body. 2) i can avoid sleeve island ;) 3) i might have to buy more yarn so would at least have the sleeves done with the same colour lot as the direct connected body
