This fucking team would have had an era if not for the invasion FOR SURE. They even made it to kato semis in 2022 despite that shit and nearly won cologne without Boombl4 which was a miracle. They won what, 10?? Tournaments in a row in 2021, just insanity. Navi 2021 was peak csgo in my opinion. Just too good. +they had the best cs player of all time combined with the best coach.

This era of NAVi was always entertaining to watch. Even when it was a blowout, it was FUN to watch every single member on that roster have their moment. Prime Astralis was better in terms of tournaments won, there's no denying that. But I think a lot of people forgot how miserable cs was to watch back then. It was boring games with most tournaments already being known who the victor was for so damn long.

It was boring because they were just that good (Not boring for me though. I appreciate the dedication and hard work to reach that level of play). And by good I mean all five of them and everybody else couldn't keep up. A lot has changed in the pro scene (partly because of what Astralis did correctly - game play wise) and the teams adapted. This is the reason why tournaments became "fun" to watch because the top teams look be leveled out. In Navi's case, they had the chemistry to eke out the slightest advantage in later rounds vs. top teams, held on to that momentum, and ultimately got the win. No doubt, that version of Navi was always entertaining to watch, even though I am not a fan of them.

That was one hell of a year for Navi back then. S1mple in 2021 was a monster, Boombl4 who as an IGL was usually a weak rifleman kept his ground, b1t was the hottest newcomer to tier 1 with his incredible mechanics and hs%, electronic was one of the best rifles in game and Perfecto at that time to me was the best support player. Just the entire team delivered at their peak and every tournament where Navi entered was basically already decided.

Miss the time when s1mple officially became the GOAT at that moments and his team not get carried to win the Major in one of the most impressive way possibles. Only 2 teams to this day manage to do that and since NAVI did it first, it always have a special place in many people memory including myself. And it also at that time shown how high the ceiling was for every team to catch up after that Major. Perfect time before the latest Major in Shanghai, thank you so much ❤ P.S. Can't believe that NAVI sent secret special agent to sabotaged and brainwashed NiKo to let NAVI won tournament and to let himself got the Diamond Coin later on instead 😂😂😂

S1mple is THE BEST. And I mean, he is one of the most skilled players ever to play the game but at the same time he is humble and respectful. It's easy to like him and I hope he and his home country can find some peace in the future. And the whole line up was so sick. Electronitc+s1mpleis probably the deadliest duo of all time. Quoting Danish Prime Minister from your 2018 rewind: "Counter Strike is an including world, that brings people together across countries, continents and origin. Here you're not judged by your nationality or your religion or appearance but on your abilities. And that is badly needed in world of today. And this way YOU are the inspiration for world of tomorrow". I hope all of us can find the peace and love what is needed. Love from Finland

honestly this just makes it so glaringly obv that csgo was better in every aspect than cs2 every single one and the only reason i even gave cs2 a chance was because of my love for the now long gone csgo.. and i wish so badly that it could come back but it just wont....
