Just to make it clear, he didn't buy the palace back. His father left him the Pataudi Palace which he took back from Neemrana Group of Hotels by cancelling the Lease and paying that cancellation amount. Prior to that he was getting a heavy cheque every month from neemrana group as lease amount. When he says he bought back Pataudi Palace is a utter lie and huge disrespect to his father.

He never sold that property so he never needed to buy back that property. His family just had a long term contract with a big Company who gave them huge amount ofd deposit and rent insted of that the company used that palace as a heritage hotel. So when Saif ali khan had to use that propety for his family he had to retun that deposit and extra compensation to cancel that contract.
