@@FormulaEverything I think he can see the championship slipping away, and he knows its game on, now or never. He has full knowledge of what he needs to do to keep his championship dream alive, but with his own team mate taking him out 2 times this season doesn't help, he knows he isn't going to get any help from Sam.

Looking at the grid you'd think Jean-Éric Vergne and Stoffel Vandoorne would be the driver pair where things go south and not Sam Bird and Mitch Evans. Especially not when the Jaguar is actually competitive and Evans has a great shot at winning the Drivers Championship and Bird isn't quite out of the running either

As a Sam Bird fan.. I can't see Jaguar keeping him for another year if this happens one more time. He's on thin ice, and having not won an E Prix in almost 2 seasons now.. Jaguar doesn't have much incentive to keep him

Oooh Sam 😢 I really like him, but they could be so much better in the teams standings without his mistakes. Same for Mitch's WDC. I don't think Sam will stay at Jag, but I'm quite sure he will stay in the championship.

@@FormulaEverything Very good question, I could imagine Envision. He was there before and they now run Jaguar powertrain, so this could fit.
