The clubs, private broadcasters, and by extension the FAs sell their soul to these betting companies. Allow it to become an increasingly integral part of the sport, but then tear a player's career apart if they're caught betting. Like what did you expect? Do one. Sandro will be immense next year. He had a scintillating start at Newcastle and then struggled for form (you’d guess because the ban was hanging over him). His English has improved and he seems settled. He’ll have a point to prove next year.

A reason why I also love tonali is that I seen a video of a young fan at the training ground waiting for players to leave and get a photo and signed top. Not alot of the players stopped, mainly it was players out of the first team and more rotation players or for lack of a better word "deadwood" players that are not expected to be at the club much longer. But tonali did stop for the fans and that speaks alot because he is banned, could easily hide away and not stop to make the effort for the fans that despite him being banned for pretty much a full season we still give him all the love because we know he is world class talent and also seems to be a good guy. I think it's bad what's happened to him. Players have done alot worse and came off alot better. I mean Kurt zuma for West ham shared a video of him kicking a cat and didn't even get a ban just got fined and a slap on the wrist. And that sums up the game we have. Can't place a bet on a game you have no involvement in but you can top bins ya family pet and rock up on Saturday and play a full 90... well done fifa and the FA well done for being completely useless 👏

Difference is he's on a '10 month program' to increase his speed and movement abilities. Throughout a typical year he doesn't get this 'personal training' to be able to focus on a weakness of his... a normal year would be general health and wellness to ensure availability.
