All we need to do really would be to put the cell phone for map viewing and it will capture images with camera and give feed back to the engine control unit by the cigarette lighter charging cable. Every car can have an auto pilot in 5 years

Without watching the video I'd say WITCHCRAFT. Now I'll watch the video and learn.

After depopulation , I shouldn't think you'll be concerned about what cars may be available!

In some situations they don't work....some might find it worth watching just a couple of the many KZbin videos on this subject...."The driverless car scam"...&...."The terrifying truth about self-driving cars"...also can anyone confirm that these vehicles can read, understand & obey every road sign?....also if one of these vehicles reaches an intersection where the traffic lights are not working & there is a human pointsman directing traffic in various directions by waving his arms...what will these vehicles do in that situation as the world can't stand still eh?

Maybe I'm not one to know much about this, but it seems like the computer could be programmed to know the speed limits, laws, etc. based on its location/what road it's on. If and when we get to the point where all cars on the road are self driving, we will no longer need road signs, and maybe even speed limits, since all the cars will communicate to move/act in harmony, as to avoid accidents.

These vehicles won't work....too many problems & for a start tell me how the sensors can read the road & conditions in snowy, foggy or other bad weather conditions....also an interesting KZbin video to start with is "The driverless car scam" ?

Please read on the topic before commenting. There are ways to figure this out as well. The camera is one of them. The way neural networks train, if you feed in data with snowy and foggy weather, it will work properly. Naturally getting all the data and all the cases are very tough, however, in the present day, you might have heard of Tesla Autopilot. It is already on the roads and way safer than any human driver. Also, these sensors are more accurate and sharp than your eyes. They can detect all the traffic signs that are on the road. Also, in case of a pointsman directing traffic, it still ain't an issue, the car can still see around it. It will make use of the fact that other drivers are following the pointsman and follow that behaviour. Anyways even reading human gestures is possible. There is definitely software out there that I am aware of that can do this. There is only a small amount of topics we can discuss in a 10-20 min video. You cannot become an expert on this topic without actually delving deep into the topic itself. And the videos you mentioned are made by half taught nitwits who could not make their own self-driving cars. So they assume no one can make these. Anyways just sit in a tesla autopilot in any weather. You will realise how safe these things are.

@@rohansingh1057 I think you need to research more...I have heard your side of the story, but believe me there are very smart people & engineers out there that are capable of blowing your ideology to pieces.
