Rachel, I have been keeping you in my prayers. I know what you are going through, I lost both of my parents. They say it gets easier which I do not think it is so. We just get busy and fill our lives with our families. Time goes on and passes so quickly. I think of them every day. I am so thankful that they are no longer in pain. It's possible that Yoneg went after a predator. That happened with Cog Hill's Emu Nugget. He scraped himself trying to capture it through the fence wire

It's good to know that Yoneg's lil injury is getting better. I think it's lovely that you think enough of your animals to bring them treats ~ it's how we show our love. Speaking of love, that makes me sad for Mojo. It seems like he gets lonely and longs to be close to any of you ~ that's why he brings a shoe/boot with one of your scents to his resting spot amongst his goats. I can't wait for the explosion of babies, both goat and geese. Finally, you have divulged how you can identify Millie. I've asked a couple of times, so it's good to know. Mornin. Yeah I had a feeling Yoneg’s injury wasn’t so bad because she was still walking around and not acting weirder than usual. It looked scarier because her feathers and furs are all white and blood looks worse on white animals. If it was serious the vet would have been called way before filming happened too.

I understand how you all feel I have had a rough 3 years 3years ago I lost my mum 2 years ago I lost my husband after 33years of s and last year I lost my dad so I am still grieving for all of them. I'm so glad that Yoneg's wound is not that bad. I was really worried when I saw the blood on her head. Yoneg and Yoshi sure do love those grapes and snacks. How exciting that Millie is the other goose sitting on a nest. I have seen boots lying on the ground in another video and I wondered about it. It's good to know that Mojo is the boot thief. At least it didn't look as if he was chewing up Kyah's boot, so that's good. I hope the sun starts melting that snow and ice. It sure is good to see such bright sunshine again. Take care!

What a great visual you and your daughter came up with!! Love it!! Years ago my sister got a book about all the names of the various animal groupings. You can have a herd of cows, goats, bison, or horses, it's a flock of chickens, ducks or geese (Kevin has three flocks and two herds). Don't know what a grouping of emus would be but I remember it was a murder of crows. Interesting tidbits of information I've gathered over the many years. So funny about mojo, I have a Pomeranian x poodle puppy that does the same thing with my shoes. He only ever gets one shoe and doesn’t chew it, just stays with it. You have to watch emus, they love to grab everything. Ask any Australian child about emus & they will tell you exactly what they’re like. I think every Aussie kid has been bitten by an emu, me being one of them 😂.

What a relief to have the udate on Yoneg. Aww MOJO misses the family and probably feels some comfort with things that smell like you all. The Gander is very protective of his ladies. Did you know that EMU feather plumes are have a very special meaning in our ANZAC history. ANZAC Day 25th April is a remembrance of the remarkable contributions our young men of a young country made during WW1. The Light Horseman adorned them in their slouch hats. When asked by nonAustralians they would say they were “Kangaroo Feathers “ as a joke. They became latter to be worn to signify someone called out for Special Duty’s. Just so you know and understand the significance to Australians. Also the EMU and KANGAROO are on our Coat Of Arms as they cannot move backwards they can only go forwards. Kevin, if you don't want the baby ducks after they're a few weeks old or so, you can sell them and someone else can enjoy their beauty. I think they are the prettiest ducks I have ever seen. Mojo feels close to you guys when he takes one of your boots to where he lays in the field. It's almost spring time and you know what that means. Babies and more babies.
