I hear pure awareness over and over. I have no idea what it means. Maybe if someone can tell me what impure awareness is I will be clear on pure awareness.

Great point to raise, thanks! Teachers are quite obscure on this (as if they assume we all already know, I think most of us are just afraid to ask) . I'll have a stab at it if only to get the ball rolling for better explanations. Normal (or impure) awareness is how we all see the world, all the time. Whatever we look at always comes from, and with, our own viewpoint. That viewpoint is always skewed by us. Our emotions, our conditioning, the environment we're currently in etc. What we are aware of, is never pure, it's always personalised. Pure awareness is (simply) seeing everything free of that personalisation. That's it. We can look at events in the past that really affected us but now we see them indifferently. It's possible to view everything like that, as it happens. When we can see things with complete neutrality we have a real tangible example of shifting towards seeing everything with the same equanimity. Then - we need to remove the final viewpoint - the Subject (You as the person who is viewing these things with your newfound equanimity). And we're done, time for a brew ❤😁

I try to listen to a conversation and hear the sounds without all the meanings. It's near impossible. It really shows how quickly the mind latches on to perceptions and judges and tells stories and sullies "pure awareness".

Based on what I have understood from various teaching : Awareness or consciousness in general sense is always related to awareness off (or object) … so known, process of knowing and knower (seer) is called consciousness or awareness But this word can also be used to say primordial awareness or consciousness beyond subject - object realm so pure awareness not contaminated with subject- object aspect. One can also call it nothingness, Stillness… 🙏

God IS -- therefore I AM Beautiful, enlightening and definitely the way I believe (my Truth). Grew up Roman catholic, then 40 years ago I found God through Unity Church (studying metaphysical interpretation/Jesus being my Guru there), and a few years ago I found my second Guru, Paramahansa Yogananda (SRF/YSS) of which Jesus is part of the same lineage (Kriya Yoga). That fact alone convinced me that I have truly found another correct spiritual path, and I remain actively part of both blessed paths (no contradictions between their Truths) (we are all EXPRESSIONS of God). Both paths are truly transforming, and I will NEVER leave either. They're both so compelling and share the same Truths, which is vital for me in this lifetime. I AM, We ALL are, so magnificently blessed and life is great! The Christ in me greets the Christ in thee, and together we work for the Glory of God! Aum, Peace, Shanty, Amen. Affirming a blessed week for ALL! Thank You Robert...you sure Let your Light shine.

Ah thank you, you made me smile recalling my own experiences with Yogananda and the SRF. I used to be so excited to receive the Kriya lessons and try the exercises. You're blessed to have a path that combines Bhakti and Jnana. 🙏🏻❤️

Tank you for your wisdom and your soft music 🎵 in the background, really nice .keep up with your divine work my dear friend 🙏❤️👌💡”””I am that iam cauz I am . I am so blessed and grateful to be aware of all my problems and shortcomings and suffering and lots more to be thankful for my journey from my past life and my human crazy thinking mind and all off its shit it was filled with from years of being unconscious and not knowing that there was a way off awakening from it all . I’m not going to lie and say it was easy but it was well worth the journey from the dark to the dawn and by divine grace and little old me put all my heart and soul into believing that if we surrender our lives and have an open mind and be able to stay on your journey and be on your own and tell no one your story and you will be in with a good chance. Keep saying to yourself what ever your name is. I ( self ) except the world the way it is and the people the way they are . The 3 principles luck up Sidney banks , mind conscious and taught. It’s so simple that the words and the people who are trying to teach you are not even aware themselves. Your intellect will keep you further from it lol . Stay strong and be kind to yourself and others. Love and peace to you all. 🙏❤️👌💡

What an enlightening session! The reminder that true freedom comes from understanding our real self beyond the physical body and mind is profound. The analogy of the blackboard and the dream really helped clarify the concept of reality and illusion. Life-changing insights!

This is a troubled man talking to himself. He has nothing to offer but negation and denial. Oh shucks, life was not what he thought. But he is thinking about it.
