How she became a millionaire: 1. Matalino- CPA. 2. Goal-oriented and disciplined. She plans well and honors her timetable. 3. 4. Started Early. 5. Worked abroad for several years (2013-2016 if tama ako sa pagkakaalala est age: 21-24). She's earning a lot and in Dollar tapos she's living with her parents doon (walang rent, bills, etc) Sweldo nya is all hers. 6. May Stock Investment habang nasa US sya. Galing. Di pwede padalos dalos sa stocks so this means napagaralan nia na mabuti bago nag invest. (Wala talagang mayaman na tamad unless old money sila but for those who might find this as an excuse, karamihan ng millionaire is self-made so hindi impossible. At the age of 31, sigurado di lang isang milyon meron si ate else di sya dito mafe-feature. Goal nia na 30 million at the age of 40-45 y/o ay di malayo. **Let's all use this time na naka quarantine na gumawa ng 10-year plan. It is a must na meron tayong multiple streams of income :)

I would like to comment on what she said about cravings to spend na it get lesser the moment you start to save money, and you can see that your saving it actually accumulating through investments. It gets more addictive to save than to spend on unimportant things like bags, shoes etc.. I'm also trying to achieve what she's achieved. Thanks to you sir Marvin and all your guests, I just stumble on your channeand now a follower, because I was looking for more motivation, that I'm actually doing the right thing, and what else I can do.. 90k USD ang average sweldo sa DC area for accountant -- about 4.5m pesos. Please tell us why you wanted to move sa Pinas. For me, dream ko talaga maka-alis. Hi Dean, thanks for your feedback! Yes, family values and for more opportunities are some of the reasons why I would rather stay in Manila. Another reason also is for me to take up grad school without having to incur student loan. I personally think that it would be easier to start a life without debt, but that's almost impossible to do in the US. Hence, I decided to attend college and grad school in Manila.

I do have the same mindset like Ms. Liezel but i feel that opportunity is still not knocking on me. I'm 22 and I just started my career this year as a civil engineer and yeah i just thought i can get higher salary even i'm a licensed engineer but what i am earning today is just exact to what we literally need since i am the bread winner in our family. It was my plan to work abroad to save money for my goals and for my family but this pandemic just happened. It was out of my control and i really need to think of what next step should i engage with so i can be in line towards my goal again. Indeed, this video helps me a lot and i wish i can be like her someday. Living the life she want it to be. Thank you Sir Marvin 😊 I've been watching a lot of your videos. I hope i can meet you someday when i got the chance to attend to one of your seminar. Keep inspiring people. Godbless 😇

I can relate here Sir Marvin, I worked in Singapore, but I tried to spend 50 sgd a week for foods and transportation and put my money in the savings higher then 50 percent from my salary. Living here in Singapore so expensive but good thing I know how to cook which help me to save more compare buying in the resto or food court.

Saving and investing is okay, but if we focus ourselves too much on these things without helping others during the Covid-19 health crisis, everything will be useless. I hope the wealthy people in our society will help others to survive during the crisis. God is the provider, and he can take it all away instantly no matter who you are.

This is very interesting. I started investing in stocks way back second quarter of 2017. But I withdrew my investment last year because I saw a good investment which is sangla tira so I won’t pay for my monthly rent. Papasok ako ulet, a bit late but definitely not too late. Actually nakapasok na ako yesterday. Lol. That’s good thing about saving 50 to 60 percent of your salary. Btw, we’re not well off, so that’s not an excuse to not saving. Unlike her, in metro manila I am living alone so I had to pay all my expenses. I sent my brother to college and he is on his 5th year now. Hopefully graduating soon. I was renting my own place a year ago, plus bills and all. Discipline lang talaga ang kelangan. I still want to travel and buy things that I want so I did an online buy and sell business that could fund my travels and other luho. Mahirap lang sa simula but gaya nung sinabi ni Liezel, once nakapagstart kana mag save, the cravings are lesser and seeing your money grow mas lalo kang gaganahan mag save. This so perfect for those na gustong magstart.

I live in Charlotte previously but now in Canada, worked with Siemens in accounting, you only spend $50 a week?? and you're from Maryland?? What about your gas, phone, personal stuff, insurance, Not sure what kind of life it was I'm sure t'was hard but it's worth it if that's the case. Even if you're living with your parents, you still have to share your living expenses that's life in the west unless if both parents are earning high and there are other members of the family that could share maybe just maybe you could exempt yourself from sharing the "living expenses" but anyhow congratulations for being so determined!

For me, emergency savings would mostly apply to wage earners. When one has established a cash flow through his assets by way of passive income, emergency savings can be used as additional capital to increase one's assets. As a result, more income. Thanks for sharing.

IMO... we can never call a person a "millionaire" if may ipon lang siyang 5 to 10m because yung "millionaire" is just a title. Lets say you have 1m flat, if you spend 1 peso you'll lose the title of being a "millionaire". A millionaire in todays age for me is have atleast 50m cold cash or in bank. Btw, Not pertaining to marvins guest. I just want to share this thing kasi andaming taong nagsasabing "im a millionaire" hehe. Di nya naanswer specifically ung question. Sabi nya she’s living on her own and saves 80% of her income?! Paano yun when the rent is expensive sa states unless she lives with a boyfriend at that time that pays her rent?? It’s not adding up 🤔

20% still doesn’t add up especially working in North America. I don’t have much bills myself and the highest I can save consistently is 50% of my income per month and that’s very rare for most people. Did she had 2nd job before?? Tsaka 3 years lang syang nagwork to save that much money? Oh c’mon, 🙄 she probably had a lot of financial help then and her family is probably supporting her for sure hanggang ngaun sa pinas. I don’t buy it sorry.

She lived with her parents meaning hindi nya problem mag bayad ng rent. Solo nya ang income nya that’s why she can save up 80% of the income.
