I'm extremely touched by all the encouragement and future support from all of Phillip's subscribers. Your kind words and support are extremely encouraging, and I'm happy for those who've followed my journey here on KZbin and who also subscribe here. Y'all know I started off complaining about high bills in the US, how expensive salmon and steak are😂😂😂and wanting to just live without constantly breaking the bank to just enjoy life. ❤❤Y'all knew even before my husband did about me building the Bistro, the process. my western union and moneygram debacles, concerns about contractors, etc. Go back and look at some of these videos😂😂😂 they're hilarious at times, but they are very informative to those who may be thinking of repatriation to their home country or Guyana more specifically. Overall, I started off wanting to do life differently, and yup, less than in the time I anticipated, I did it!!! Hope the inspiration continues as some as shared, to others who want to do the same as I did. @Bynoe, you made me lol when you said you didn't think I would. Yes, sir, I'm one tough cookie. If I say I'mma do it, I will.😂😂😂 it's called putting your creativity, money, and energy into the business that pays you into retirement . Well, that's my story, and I'm sticking to it.😂😂😂 Well, once again, thanks all. I look forward to serving you at Canje Bistro and Lounge here in Blueberry Hill Wismar.. To the commentor with concerns: it's a two burner deep fryer. We were cooking for friends, normally the meat is cooked on one side and fries and breadfruit on the other. If he did it together, that's perhaps because he knew we were cooking for friends, and the oil change followed before the weekend opening as is mandatory. Also, trust me my hands are cleaner than any ice dip you can find. I wash my hands every single time I serve. And I wash the ice and glass so my customers never have to worry. I hope you notice the cleanliness throughout as well. I'm wondering why you didn't take the time to compliment those aspects? But thanks for the feedback. Smiles! To the person who made the suggestion for the concrete tiles. Thanks so much for noticing what I call the ugly part of the venue 😂😂😂 the concrete to the right I been complaining, girl. But yes, plans are in place to tile it with outdoor tiles. I already went and got a quote for it. So once I'm done with the air bnb tiling, my contractor will move onto that part. Thanks again, all. @guyanacreations4073 only bar and Lounge, restaurant, air bnb and events hall. I'm not into beauty products in terms of selling, but I'm sure there are lots of that in the market here already. For example, I find my beauty products at various local area stores, and the Chinese are not short on beauty products for all hair textures, including mine. Thank God I get all my beauty products locally, that I'm accustomed to over there.

I love this place Philip. This place reminds me of when I was a child before I left Guyana for Canada to go to Private school and then on to University, but why I like this place as a child my Mom used to take us to see her relatives in Suriname as she was from Holland and when I was home when there was no school I didn’t like certain music but when I put our radio on the Suriname station I would listen to the channels that played and listened to all the R&B music. Then I found. Station on the Brazilian radio where I fell in love with all the Brazil Jazz. At 10-13 they used to play music called melody down the lane on a Guyana station and I gravitated to that kind of music. Growing up in Canada I had two boys and I would clean on a Friday so on Saturdays I would take my boys out so my cleaning day I would listened to Brazilian Jazz and Jazz on the whole. I love Lee Ritenour, Anita Baker, Paulino Da Costco. Dave Gurshin, Astrud Girberto, George Benson, Nina Simone, Nancy Wilson and Sergio Mendez and those kinds of Jazz. A place like that would suit me and my friends just fine only the ocean is missing, but that’s alright. I haven’t been around for a while , just travelling, but I just turn on KZbin and saw the place and the sounds in the background. I love it and remembered all the cruise ships and travelling around the world listening to my spotifier and listen to these songs. I think she has just put me in the mood for a trip to Guyana. Tell her they called those drinks mojitos some are mock tails too. Send me her info please you have my email . Tell her she came up with something that Christian’s can enjoyed as well. I love the wood vibes she is so right. I think she just of put the washrooms at the side and not right behind the bar. This would be so smooth when I used to visit my cousins in Suriname and Cayenne and they would take me to this beautiful little joint by the ocean and we would sit and listen to the music. Now I am in my seventies and don’t do too much travelling as your body gets like a car as you get older the more you have problems especially with asthma the air on the plane is recycled air and not fresh air. I when up to Linda once as a child maybe twelve and I left Guyana at fifteen. I used to spent my Winters in Anguilla but because of the long travelling I gave the place to my son as a wedding gift. Anyways Philip thanks again for the video. The lady seemed to be a very decent, fussy and finicky like me, but very special woman. All the best.

I met this nice young lady a few years ago when she was in the embryonic stages of this bistro. Thanks to your channel Phillip - I finally got the chance to see her dreams come to fruition. I have never been to that part of Linden, however, on my next visit, I would definitely make this place part of my to do list. Donette is very articulate (professor of communications) and has a warm welcoming spirit. Her place is well thought out and the theme of romance should be inculcated by all the patrons. The choice of music shows that she is a lady of class and standards. Thank god for not playing the type of music that goes against the ambiance of the place. Hi Dr. Phillip Donnette's lounge surely won me over. I usually skip out on bars on the whole because of the blazing loud music. Love how she emphasized on Romantic and being the best Mixologist. That diamond water really help me with my wind pain. Wow those rest rooms are sophisticated thats a + The garden is so nice , fresh seasonings to cook the food . Broadleaf thyme aka Oregano or Indian Borage very good. The presentation of the food 'A' I am drooling. So happy Donnette touched on Time and Customer Service , time is the essence of life.
