Orochimaru not even as bad as people made him seem. He is strong and more than capable especially with his hashirama healing factor where he heal on contact. Plus he has studied numerous of different jitsu im surprised they didn’t make him the hokage. He is more than capable of defeating powerful foes and defending the village
