Raíssa Vitório, Knowledge Exchange and SHINE Hub Coordinator at the UN Trust Fund to End Violence Against Women talks about their platform at the Open Social Summit '24, on May 30th in Amsterdam.
SHINE is a knowledge exchange innovation in the field of ending violence against women and girls (EVAW/G). SHINE has become a pivoting tool in co-creating and amplifying practice-based knowledge between UN Trust Fund and civil society organizations. We will present how SHINE operates within the knowledge product development with civil society organizations. We will also showcase the challenges and lessons learnt regarding the safety risks and ethics on driving engagement on hub about EVAW/G. Since SHINE aims to contribute to the ecosystem of EVAW/G, the talk ends with the ways forward to democratize access and open up to more multi-stakeholder partnerships in the process.
