Sir Mashallah I am Allah blessed me with one son . He is living happily with his wife and kids abroad and we are enjoying that they are happy. I always take my daughter in law side and encourage my son to always behave good and keep her happy. He sometimes say amijan it looks that you are not my mother. I always pray from the core of my heart. Ameen

Yes sir I’m hundred percent agree with you but one of your best friend family make my only daughters life miserable for 11 years she start taking anti-depression pills for last ten year but thanks God she’s happy now not with them with the other man😌

One thing should be added that as your son is grown up ,before getting him married parent's guidance to his son must be completed so that after marriage parents couldn't interfere in the name of grooming of their child.Grooming of son must be finished before marriage.Anyhow,thanks for sharing your thoughts over this issue.

Reasons and actions that over pressure your married children (specifically sons)are in my opinion: 1-jealousy 2- unnecessary attention seeking 3- taking advantage of your Islamic status and reminding kids of that in smaller mistakes 4- mistreating your daughter or son in law according to their low financial position regardless of how well behaved they are with you. 5- insecurity of losing your children to their spouses 6- being selfish in just making your own married daughter son or daughter happy by hook or by crook 7- forcing your daughter or son in law to rename the relationships ‘calling you ‘Ammee or Abbu’ while being total unable to give them those rights of a parent 8- thinking yourself to be the best and most intelligent in the world being older 9- giving unsolicited advice 10- always sneaking in their earnings 11- being unjust with children - treating your daughters like princesses and forcing daughters in law to slave them and their kids 12- being disrespectful to both son or daughter in law in front of others following the wrong norms of society 13- Talking ill of your son and daughter in law to relatives, neighbors and everyone 14- trying to get more information from your daughter in law’s family 15- finding excuses to taunt your daughter or son in law based on anything you know about them 16- using sensitive information given by your children about their spouses against them publicly or privately 17- making different rules for your own children and for their spouses- your daughters can do everything they want but daughter in law is not allowed If we follow the Islamic teachings, then these things will never happen. I pray that Allah guides us all , parents and children to the right path and we build a healthy family together.
