Did the vendor tell you the secret of Khmer silk? Due to the high demand for silk product in Cambodia among the tourists, majority of the silk yarns are imported from Vietnam. A lot of imitated silk products are available in those souvenir shops. Looking for good cause with thoughtful locally made items? Check out Watthan Artisan Cambodia at Wat Than Pagoda 180 Norodom Boulevard and Rajana Craft Shop at 61c, Street 450 Tuol Tom Poung.
