for all those complaining about the "earning money through tax" w/o watching the video -- as a middle to low income earner i pay very little tax the govt doesn't tax you at all if you are below a certain income level (which i was when i worked part time while studying)

You are right. We should not change for a possibility to be living in a 3rd world country, but that does not mean there should be no complaints . There are many things we can do better like how the US is the richest gdp wise yet are probably in a worse situation than us , like how we all have a home but many of us still suffer from living paycheck to paycheck to live in these gov controlled homes .

SGP's govt do NOT just collect "taxes, fees & fines" BUT also makes use of a portion of returns on investments which unfortunately has been miserable and or plague by LOSSES amounting to tens if not hundreds of BILLIONS. Not to mention the unpredictable nature of the mandated vaxxed policy which can result in other medical issues like CANCER, cardio-vascular diseases, stroke, dengue, syphilis (but strangely NOT other STD like gonorrhoea, chlamydia and trichomoniasis which would deplete a high amount of revenue. Just admit that Lee Hsien Loong and Ho Ching have FAILED the people lah.......rather than resort to such kind of propaganda..

Here ladies and gentleman is a prime example of someone expressing their frustrations BEFORE watching the video. 3:47 clearly states the shortfall is earned through investments. Because it's earned through investments, taxes don't have to increase as drastically. The video also states the MAX tax rate of 25% is less than other European countries whose tax rate is 40%. Thank you for your attention, you may now resume your regular "the government sucks" rants.
