How Skylanders Changed Gaming

Skylanders has always felt so special and unique to me. Even though it's not exactly groundbreaking by today's standards, I still find the whole toys to life concept insanely cool and I think Skylanders executed it the best out of all of them. It was awesome to have grown up with such a revolutionary series that changed the gaming landscape for nearly a decade.

Voices lord Tachyon in ratchet and clank tools of destruction and Raz from the psychonauts franchise and Patrick Seitz the voice of hot head riptide chomp chest and thrillipede voices Zomom in sonic lost world and slim cognito and Wendell lumos from ratchet and lyric the last ancient from the sonic boom franchise and clank Nika Futterman the voice of nightfall voices Sticks the jungle badger from the sonic boom series and Scott wyth the voice of funny bone voiced crash bandicoot in crash bandicoot 4 it's about time and lex Lang the voice of grim creeper is the current voice actor of Dr neo cortex in crash bandicoot and David boat the voice of brawl and chain and Headwick voices Alpheus from ratchet and clank a crack in time and I think David boat would be perfect voicing Dr N gin in crash bandicoot.

I still remember playing Skylanders Spyro’s adventure back in 2013 at my sisters house because it slowly led the way for me getting into Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon after watching videos of Crash Mind Over Mutant a couple of years earlier

@Tae Kwon Woah True, so many people who blindly hate on Skylanders have never even touched the games once. I don't understand why the toy aspect gets such a negative stigma. It's like collecting Pokemon but with physical toys. Granted they cost money, but you only need one toy to play the game, the rest are for collectors and completionists.

I think what makes Amiibo last so long is that Nintendo didn't make them mandatory for completing any games, they're just a side thing for collectors and fans of certain characters that can give you a boost for your games

In my opinion toys to life can only work if they released each games in 3 to 4 years, giants and maybe swap force could have been a massive dlc to ssa, they should have only released 8-16 figures because imo 32 characters where more than enough.

am i the only one who knows fiestas tactic of spinning while using his trumpet 🎺 it makes my main so much better also in imaginators you can not use vehicles 🚗 out of racing so the superchargers are because of that way worse so it is not his fault of being worse like a lot of skylanders in imaginators butt i still love the game despite being my least favourite in the series and skylanders is also still to this day my favourite videogame series and easy a god tier kids game franchise
