Dr Sharminder Kaur There is no such thing as equality. Even more so when speaking of characteristic behaviour. Inteligence is a aspect both can excel in but age experience play a factor. Also one can be smart in one thing and stupid in the other. But there will always be one who is better or worse in a sittuation. This can be bc of mood, what it is, experience and different factors. I’m not saying this bc it matters but equality would hinder individuality.

I would counter argue that, the owner made sure the dogs can both see and smell the tree before hiding it. So therefore it was also a test of object permanence as if they could visualize where the treat was left. Then seeing if then they could get it. The fact that are huskies aren't the best of their noses I would argue benefit at the test.

The best version is to do a variation of the marble under the cup that gamblers do put it under one cup then shuffle the cups around, best way to do it is rather then using a treat use something they associate with a treat so they know when they find it they get rewarded but are unable to use their sense of smell to find it meaning they are limited to intelligence.

I have a husky from last 10 months ...I wanna say one thing from the bottom of my heart ...this is a gorgeous breed not just by looks only but behaviour with people nd other dogs....my husky is calm and moderate playing dog....don't follow much orders but as a dog he is intelligent on his own...he loves to cuddle and loves to hunt rats and ducks...I just love him being a dog..super friendly with everyone ...don't bark much but playful. He is an escape artist too

Omgosh...these are the most beautiful Huskies I have ever seen, and I have seen alot. Kokoa has such different color and markings. So he accidentally locked it with his paw and I couldn't get in. There was this one time as well that I was heading to work and he some how opened the door

I'd love to try some of these with my cats. I remember hearing about a test they do with dogs and cats where they put a bowl of food just out of reach and the animal has to get the food. In one of the stages, it's impossible to get the food and apparently dogs will try for a bit but when they realise they can't, they'll look to the examiner for help
