The South Sydney Rabbitohs have started the 2024 NRL Season Horribly and new reports are emergency to rub salt into their wounds that they had the chance to sign English International Dominic Young and Blues Winger Josh Addo-Carr But due to their own fault they didn't. Damien Cook, Cam Murray, Jacob Host, Jack Wighton and Tommy Burgess put in for this club week in, week out. The rest of them….. No! In my honest opinion, here is what needs to happen at Souths to be successful. 1 - Mark Ellison (Recruitment) needs to be sacked. Not for the Ado-Carr or Dominic Young decision. The decision to let go Adam Reynolds, Dane Gagai, Blake Taafe, Hame Sele and Jaydn Su’a. 2 - Jason Demitriou - Lost the players. It’s over. I feel a bit for him, but it must happen. He’s the Defence Coach and we’ve leaked over 150 points this year. 3 - Ben Hornby - Our attack is clunky, and he stayed on while Sam Burgess and John Morris were shown the door. Clearly there’s some white anting going on. 4 - Latrell Mitchell - Want to run the club? Do it elsewhere! We’re sick of you being suspended cause you want a break. Sick of you spending time off the field to be an activist. Sick of you speaking out and not backing it up on the field. Sick of you being lazy. Go to the Dragons or Taree! 5 - Cody Walker - Needs to be given the punt. Hasn’t played a solid game since Origin last year. Needs to go Tommy I would love to keep, but he’s leaving next year anyway. I’d be looking at Michael McGuire as coach with Sam Burgess, John Sutton and John Morris as assistants. I’d be hitting the market for a decent halfback, fullback and forward. I’d also look to our reserves to see who we can elevate.

Firstly Mitchell is not a fullback and he’s lazy. Secondly walker is along with his mate Mitchell are momentum players … they only play well when they are winning. I hope Souths keep them both because I would really love to see them come last on the comp!

He's on the decline sadly. Nobody beats father time. The only time he played well this year was against a team (bulldogs) that aren't as good yet. He failed to do the same at the end of last season and early this season against quality teams.
