Club transfers are a complicated and long thought-out form of business. But recent years have seen a surprising development in a form of transfer market speed-dating.
The rise of the app TransferRoom has seen genuine speed dates happen in real life between Premier League, Scottish Premiership, Ligue 1 clubs and many more. But how does it work? Is it as easy as swiping yes on a player a club likes the look of?

THis same model was used in other areas of sales since the 70s (Infrastructure, IT, collaboration within a sector like energy, etc). Its only natural to adopt best practices that work in other sectors... the problem now is that this breeds normally a sense of inclusivity which leads inevitably to a small pool and increased prices withn that pool... which leads to its own downfall. Happened in other industries.

Can you guys do a video on Trent Alexander? He must be one of the most divisive players in the UK. Hes at fault every week for at least 1 goal, but the way he nutted Zinchencko and put the ball on Firminhos head against Arsenal was priceless.

From what I’ve gathered that one’s actually quite straight forward: he’s there for his attacking threat and the midfielder next to him and the holding player are meant to help protect him, they just haven’t protected him this season. Fabinho’s woefully out of form, Henderson’s burnt out and Elliott hasn’t mastered the defensive side of his game yet. Klopp plays him at right back to allow him more time and space to pick and play his passes, and he’s barely been dropped this season cos his competition - Calvin Ramsay - has been plagued by injuries this season.
