Just get a couch cover. When it gets dirty just remove it and put it in the washer. Easier than scrubbing stains or vacuuming pet fur every other day or so...

What is the equivalent of power paste in America? Do we have it? It sounds like pumice but that seems too rough. It reminds me of metal polish with it's supersoft abrasive quality but it seems rougher than that.
