The 2019 HeliOffshore Conference heard from Shell Aircraft's Air Transport Safety Director Jonathan Phillips about changes planned by the International Association of Oil & Gas Producers to strengthen standardisation of requirements for offshore helicopter services. David Anderson, Managing Director of the Flight Safety Foundation's BARS programme, gave some valuable insights into what's been achieved in the fixed wing sector.
