I reckon there's one more thing that could help when the wipe hits is knowing where tarkov saves its config files: C:\Users\ [Your Username] \AppData\Roaming\Battlestate Games\Escape from Tarkov\Settings. Copy everything inside and save it somewhere else that you won't forget, if the settings got wiped after the wipe(happened before), just paste it back and you are good to go!

This is a really good overview on the most important stuff. It also plays into another important factor - not getting broke. Being smart about what you pick up in a raid can make or break your stash, your bank and thus your progression. I'm mostly min-maxing items in terms of trader prices before I hit level 15, resulting in not having to focus on the spending part of leveling traders. It also has the nice side-effect of getting rich early on without having to jump into every firefight, meaning that when I get to the flea market, I'm not as restricted as others in how much I can spend. This in return makes acquiring items for hideout upgrades much easier. I think the main difference between me and the vast amount of streamers and sweats is that I focus on making money first to ease up my progression, while most others focus on exp. Both strats have the same outcome in terms of progression/speed, but since I play more passive, I usually have a bit higher k/d and SR, and a lot more money in the first weeks of the wipe.

I have a tip for people, start crafting ost m4 ammo as soon as you can and get the armoury key for streets it has like a 80%chance to spawn an m4 and 40% to spawn 2 its a cheap key too like 20k

I plan on using arena to progress and focus on having fun raids in eft. The money is great as well, which means I can pay for hideout upgrades instead of scavving for money. A couple games a day can be 1 mil. I plan on rushing to Bitcoin farm so maximize long term money making to keep myself funded all wipe.

I mean setup gatekeeps a ton of quests that are relatively easy and give you a lot of XP as well as kappa and lightkeeper. I would say that's one of the priority quests early wipe when people aren't running anything and you can just shotgun everyone down while they're doing the quest as well.

couple of tips for gas ans and flash drive they can spawn in safes and filing cabinets, GO TO STREETS, i would probably say on that the are at least 50-60 filing cabinets and about 3 free safes around the map. plus toolboxes, tech supply crates and tech spawns can also spawn gas ans. Streets this wipe is by far my most played map and the amount of those annoying bastards i find casually whilst looting is nuts.

Tbh ive found A LOT of gas analyzers on interchange(well, at least I see them pretty frequently, not actually looting them most of the time), the tech stores and spawns on interchange quite often have gas analyzers. Also a great place to get items you need for upgrading your hideout early on.

@Handcannon77 only problem is for the first 3 weeks of wipe everyone and their mom are using those spots, bc they are common knowledge like the interchange pc route to get pc components/gpus for farming part 3. They are good, but unless u get there first and manage to not extract camped on interchange. Just sayin on streets barely any1 are hunting down these filing cabinets, plus i forgot to say the number of tech spawns on that map is high also which spawns the gas ans. Personally i say do whichever map you feel comfortable on but i dont a single person going to streets for these or even mention it in videos bc i dont think people know that some of these items can spawn in filing cabinets

Apparently, leveling in EFT using Arena will not be possible. They mentioned something about not linking the leveling process between two modes, as its way too quick (3 games done, with 1 weekly and 2 dailies = lvl10)

So, started late last wipe, got really frustrated with the salewa spawns I was getting in the maps I was playing, IE, interchange and Ground Zeros, then I left that shit on the back burner and decided to progress other traders, second raid on Shoreline, I got 4 salewas in a single go, 3 out of the 4 ambulances I checked had them, and after that basically everytime I went to Shore, I got at least one Salewa, I guess it's luck of the draw

Best strat I can think of is immediately doing lighthouse scav runs on water plant easiest loot strat for gear

For gear, I'd agree. For progression, scaving interchange or Shoreline. Just avoid the resort and sunken village on shoreline. Path to lighthouse is the choice for most chads to extract from resort. I hit the pier and the gas station fire jump, then out. I'll hit the town (not the chalet's) for tech loot if I have that extract. Radar station if I'm going to Road to Customs. I do not hit them upon entering. You'll get too heavy, too fast.

The problem with this game is no matter how well you do in a raid, you just die to a loser camping the extract. Then he gets all your hard work. That’s 90% of my deaths and gets worse every wipe to the point where I’m having more fun in pve mode now. And that’s on top of the cheating problem. I dont think Tarkov can be enjoyable until extract camping is punished
