@@upyourasteriod4494 I highly doubt it. Shadow can scale to Sonic and Infinite placing him around planet/star level. Doomsday has taken hits from far worse beings and kept on getting back up. Shadow would break himself if he tried to hit DD (or if DD ever hit him back.) Granted, Super Shadow with chaos powers would be tougher to take on. Still, considering that Superman has broken out being frozen in time before Doomsday could probably break out of chaos control too. I'm not sure if he could outright copy Super Shadow's powers but he can learn to counter them. If nothing else he can just keep mauling Super Shadow (or keep yelling Maria) until he runs out of super form.

There's a misconception. The physical forms of Darkseid in every universe are called emmations. Avatars are the copies of those emnations. Every universe has it's own Apololips and New Genesis, but the true planets are in the God sphere. Which is why sometimes, Apokolips and New Genesis seem to be in deep space somewhere bc they're emmations of the actual planets. And so are that universe's Highfather and Darkseid.

All the copies or forms you see are not even him, but just puppets he creates and controls. Comic books tend to be inconsistent, so people have different scaling systems to rank them. Chuck and other youtubers look at both low ends and high ends of character's feats/power levels, while VS battles wiki tries to find a middle ground for both ends. I personally tend more towards Chuck's methods. VS battles wiki has many problems, but it's far from the worst. Try Comicvine or the who would win subreddit, they have no consistency, ranking systems and use head cannons as proof for their arguments.

Superman did really die in the comics and came back to life. They even show how they had to bring his soul back to Earth and Panthom Stranger later confirmed that he was effectively dead. It depends, Doomsday can adapt to any type of attack provided his physiology allows him to do so and in the case of magic it would depend on whether or not it was a type of "energy" he could absorb or whether his bone potrusions would simply block such attacks. In regards to ghosts we've seen Doomsday adapt to Martian Manhunter's phasing and being possessed several times and I'm fairly certain it ghosts wouldn't be able to do much unless they could drag him to hell or something like that but even then I'd imagine he'd simply massacre the undead.

I think DC’s biggest issue is that when they create their characters they make them all in God Mode. It must be really difficult to write for a character like Doomsday or Superman or really any of them when most of the problems they face could just be punched until it goes away. You can’t create actual plot when every character already has the God-Like plot amour. It means most of the time they have to nerf the character suddenly for the sake of story or change or create another character into something that’s even more ridiculous over powered. And I think that’s why Batman in most ways is everyone’s favourite DC character. It’s because he is naturally flawed and can’t solve his problems by simply running the faster then the speed of light. And yes even with the whole prep-time joke running around, still is a really good argument to make that Batman actually needs to think about the obstacles that he has to face and come up with smart, entertaining ways to solving them. Anyway sorry about the rant but seeing this guy break down how stupidly powerful Doomsday is just sort of triggered it.

Agreed, I mean look at Wally West, power so horse shit he can run to the end of time and re-write the plot... that is the beginning and end of my interest in his character. Once you remove consequence for reality warping, I'm done and unfortunately DC does that a lot. Superman lifting a black hole, no not buying it. Ironically Doomsday is kind of tame compared to any of that.

@@akagetobimaru1994 The strongest cartoon version of Superman is probably star level+ (Superman vs The Elite movie )which means he would be around final form Frieza and SSJ Goku levels. But comic book characters always get nerfed in animated cartoons and live action movies. Most comic book versions are stronger than even current Goku and atleast 2 of them solo the entire dragonball. Plus i don't see how comic books beeing written by many aurthors changes anything. If we are talking about Superman's most powerfull version then he solos. Animated and movie Superman probably doesn't get past android 18(android saga).

Some Authors make them powerful n some makes them weak.... And dbs is one of the strongest characters in anime n it was one of the anime which is powerful n was animated(although there are characters in anime which is more powerful than dbz characters).. Comics character like superman,darkseid n so on are very inconsistent in their powers n I don't like to compare them....i only compare with the one that is being animated
