How strong is Lilith in Borderlands 2 OP10?

It always really annoys me when I run through the bl2 or bl3 campaign, the main reason is because how are the sirens like Lilith or Maya dying so easily and being captured. Troy phaselocked the moon yet Maya can’t just phaselock bunker and Lilith tries to tackle Jack instead of incinerating him. What are the vault hunters doing during the cutscene? Staring? I get that it wouldn’t make sense if the sirens gameplay wise but come on. There are 7 sirens in the whole universe so they’re obviously VERY powerful, and so much could be avoided if Lilith just teleported everywhere with a bunch of eridium in pocket and defeat literally everyone, or Maya just phaselocks all the bosses and turns them into a used tissue. Again, it is ridiculous to think of because this would make the other characters redundant which is probably why along with for gameplay purposes, but it still annoys me to wonder how thing’s could’ve been different.

dont forget how both are without equipment, no weapons nor shield. but maya only has like a smg and a useless book for a useless child.

Troy had an asteroids worth of eridium whereas apparently Maya only JUST used eridium in the story. That's it, the rest is spot on

Uhm a bit weak then? I've heard some comments that she was too OP, etc. Balancing these mods was rather, let's say, interesting... trying to keep things from being totally broken while giving the possibility for various satisfyingly powerful builds. Anyway, I was happy enough with the result for myself, although it's impossible to get it perfectly right... Cool video, would love to see what you do with Roland and Mordecai.

I can imagine that balancing is really an impossible task. I think you did a great job and if op10 wasn't so crazy she would be really insane! And lets just say I got some things cooking up with your other work :)

I agree with Yonde, OP10s scaling nuked the balance of BL2 so don't feel bad about your balancing of a modded character, you did a great job!

Imagine if in a game they bring back fan favorite vault hunters (who are still alive/are still vault hunters) as playable characters, either entirely reworking or modifying their skill trees, take Krieg and Brick as an example, make them both "front line" characters, Krieg could gain a fourth subclass that makes him more support, either by taunting or fearing enemies, forcing them to either specifically target him (thus letting your allies stay up, and could trigger release the beast more often), or make enemies do either less damage, or have them run in fear or just not shoot at all. Brick could have his hammer from bl2, assuming he still has it, that allows him go to knockback enemies more, or have a tree that reveals some bandits or enemies are still loyal to the slab king, turning them into temporary allies.

dang people still making B2 tutorials and vids. shit i was like 12 when this game came out half my life ago lol I still remember all the old glitches from duping to map breaking, theres probably been so much more stuff exploited in 12 years
