So he listed himself as third smartest because he doesn't need the hassle.

I would say he’s as smart Batman and smarter than Lex. But remember, Batman chooses to limit himself due to his morals. As we know from Dark Knights Metal and Death Metal, The Batman who Laughs, who’s Batman’s true Dark counterpart. If Batman truly let’s go, he can put the Omniverse at the edge of Extinction. Plus as of recently in Flashpoint Beyond, Bruce stole the power Dr. Manhattan who can topple Mr. Mxypltik. I’ll never underestimate Mr. Terrific, but it’s not wise to sleep on Batman, there’s a reason why Alpheus the World Forger holds him in high regard.

@@porobotboyxxx I'm Batman fan, but I became a Mister Terrific fan later and realized how under utilized he is. His natural aptitude at excelling at anything is really a super power in itself. Those situations you talk about you could easily replace Batman for Mr. Terrific. Imagine if we saw the counterpart to Mr. Terrific's version of the Batman who laughs. I think pretty much you would get the same results.

It dosen't matter how interesting or powerful Mr Terrific (or most black characters) are today, they'll always be second rate in modern entertainment because people who write about them only know of 'the struggle' trope. It's a meme that has to be either abanonded or accepted for it's time cause until then every black character will always have some sort of root with 'the struggle', they can never be their own character like an average anime, comic, movie or tv character.
