I don’t know if anyone has said this before but I think the “ritual to the Sun God” was Tanjiros dads way of keeping away Muzan. Kinda like his own way of saying I’m here and I’ll destroy you if you come after me. He just called it the ritual because he didn’t want to rob his kids of their innocence with the knowledge of demons. After he died Muzan attacked and killed everyone to stop their bloodline to make sure no one could stop him. And he probably turned Nezuko into a demon to troll their entire family.

Well it seems like Tanjiro technically completed one of the requirements to become hashira which is to defeat one of the 12 kizukis(and more later on). Considering his current state after the fight, he seems like mid pillar level or along the lines of that. No wonder Tengen complimented Tanjiro's growing strength.

I personally think that Muzan was absolutely wrong about Daki holding Gyutaro back! Feel like this bond Gyutaro and Daki shared made them so much stronger than people give them credit for (like Tanjirou and Nezuko with their family). If Tengen had actually fought both of them together at once without the help of Tanjiro and the others they would've definitely killed him. I personally believe Gyutaro and Daki as Upper Moon Six are far superior to Kaigaku, I was debating with some people a few months ago and one of them strongly believed Kaigaku was stronger, but after going through the manga again, I can say without a doubt that they are stronger, Daki is a hindrance when fighting multiple people, but if it's a two on one or a two on two, I think they could definitely beat most Hashira level characters (excluding Gyomei, Sanemi, Muichiro, and Iguro of course), and Kaigaku didn't have much time to develop his BDA, not only that..but he happens to be very cocky, even more so than Gyutaro was and I think that would ruin any chance of him winning, the whole reason he lost to Zenitsu is because he underestimated them, and I see the same thing happening with Daki and Gyutaro, especially when they have versatile BDAs that have a high chance of hitting their target and have fairly good range to add to that..

@@trash_boat4644 Yeah, but the amount of humans a demon eats doesn't always determine how strong they are as a demon, some demons are just naturally powerful from the start and Kaigaku was already a strong Slayer before becoming a demon with the added ability to use his BDA along with his Breathing style, if Kaigaku had even a year of time to adjust, then I think he'd be able to reach at least Upper Four in status due to how strong he was beforehand and him and Zenitsu grew quickly with probably the same amount of training, if not more for Kaigaku since he used more than one form and I don't think Gyokko would have the same kind of way to win as Gyutaro and Daki due to how they work, so Kaigaku could "probably" win against Gyokko but that's it for Upper Moons.

Honestly Imma say I feel like Gyutaro and Daki are basically just as strong as Gyokko and maybe an even harder and trickier fight as you are fighting 2 demons that you need to slice at once and his poison is extremely deadly that other Hashira would have died from the poison and we dont see this as Tengen had poison resistance I feel some Hashira without marks would be beaten Muichiro,Mitsuri maybe Shinobu and other Hashira like Rengoku and Tomioka could die from the poison even defeating Gyutaro just my opinion.

The only numbers that correlate strongest are the top 3. Which akaza could be 2 if he ate women. Gyutarou is easily 4, he just doesn’t care to rank up, he only wants whatever makes his sister happy. Not to mention he is an issue to all the hashira, getting any of them poisoned and running would be insta death for any of them. Gyatarou should be 4 imo
