as far as the bicycle inconsistency is concerned it was explain that yusuke after the dark tournament had stop training and had gotten rusty that was the main reason he was having trouble with sensui human crew however it was when hiei came in and defeated sniper that he challenged yusuke and yusuke was able to regain his lost power. so the yusuke your seeing on the bike is actually weaker than his dark tournament counterpart.

to be honest, dwarf star dark tournament scaling is pretty ridiculous. Sensui's spiritual presence didnt just immediately destroy the Earth, like a large star level character's would've, it gradually caused disasters. Also, Toguro and Yusuke go all out, yet the island isn't even destroyed. Yusuke definitely shoots up over planetary after his Mazoku transformation for sure, but he wasn't capable of atomizing the Earth from dark tourney.

My only problem with your discussion around Suzaku and the lightning is that Suzaku used natural lightning, then amped it with his demon energy. It's more than likely that it's still lightning speed, therefore I'd say Yusuke is lightning speed at that time. Not to mention Suzaku calls him as such in that fight.

I think he actively chose to provide a highball, due to the speed-based implications. If you assume that the power of the basketball-sized star is Dwarf Star, then the scaling chain makes a lot more sense for him being able to threaten The World. That's a lot more reasonable for a powerscale, by using the narrative to support the premise, rather than going all-in on a scaling chain from a guide or outside source.

iirc A or S rank demons were stated to cap at country level and Sensui states 1/5(20%) of his power is too much for the earth but powers up more later and the earth was still intact just that there were more earthquakes. And in their fight I think Yusuke shot off a mountain level spirit gun and a stronger Sensui in his armor stated if that hit he would've died. I would like to bring op a counterargument in the sense that tiny star could be taken to mean that it would output the same energy as a star of that size. We can already do nuclear fusion, and the pellets we're fusing are tiny compared to the size of the sun she's holding. The amount of energy that would be released if that size ball was undergoing fusion would be insane, but it wouldn't be anywhere near planet level.

I disagree with this scaling. I know the anime is goated and people don't wanna use that but Genkai in the anime said it could power a city block (more consistent with the toguro feat busting the building). Toguro was stronger than Genkai with the orb and more so after. So Yusuke getting that much additional energy wouldn't make him star level. If he were star level that means Toguro is as well. And there in no way possible are Yusuke/Toguro firing off star based atks (which is what you would need to damage them if they habe stat durability). I would say large city level is more accurate. I own the DVD box set and watch it regularly (yes it's not the manga I get it). I feel like people take some statements as a figure of speech being fact. Like if Genkai orb is that powerful that means she is star level. Which fucks up the scaling for everyone else in the series. It makes no sense to give Yusuke star durability based off that statement. If thats the case Temari is +universal due to the scans. Which makes Kaguya multiversal being and Sasuke and Naruto are beyond that lmao.
