My bad for not making it more ambiguous. I thought I'd clarify on Omnipotence and Omniscience a bit. The first thing to know is that not everyone agrees on these definitions, for many reasons. Even with true omnipotence people still debate between "True" Omnipotence and "Logical" Omnipotence (Doesn't / Can't contradict itself or logic etc) However in this case you'll realize even the most mainstream ooh ooh ah ah definitions still have "ultimate power" as a description. Which is another way of just saying that person is the strongest around. Definitions have changed quite a bit, even since the last time I checked it, but that still remains the same. Words themselves are debatable and contextual, and need to be seen as such. With Omniscience, some even argue "seemingly" knowing everything can apply as Omniscient. As of 5/24, that's what Cambridge agrees with as well: dictionary.cambridge.org/us/dictionary/english/omniscience With Omnipotence, generic sites like Dictionary.com describe it as "Almighty or Infnite in power; as God" or "Having very great or unlimited authority or power" www.dictionary.com/browse/omnipotent Almighty, can be informally translated as very great as well, even using Googles standards, which is rather flat and usually short listed with its definitions. This goes into many things, and with many characters claiming Omnipotence / Omniscience. It really is a huge philosophical debate to even prove many notable "omnipotent" characters can actually be omnipotent by us even knowing of their desires and so forth, let alone anime characters who have clear time/ego/ and plot restrictions. What I'm saying here, is that not everyone agrees with words the same way, let alone another culture, and giving so much charitably that you take every word to its utmost extreme is not practical or logical. Yhwach said he wanted to take his time with the fight. Ichigo pulls out his fused hollow-quincy power in shikai. Yhwach decides that he can no longer fuck around and uses the almighty. Ichigo activates his bankai. Yhwach immediately breaks it, not even going blow for blow like he did when Ichigo was in shikai. Another thing that everyone misses is that right after breaking his bankai Yhwach breaks Ichigo's hollowfication before going anywhere near him. He then absorbs both Ichigos hollow and quincy power, but ichigo can still kill him with just his soul reaper powers as we see when he stabs Yhwach in the back. So yeah Ichigo can go toe to toe with Yhwach physically and kill him it's just that the Almighty is the greatest ability in the verse.

Ishida's schrift however is a hardcounter to Yhwach since Ishida can reverse everything Yhwach gained to himself while Yhwach loses those power and the reason why Haschwalth said Ishida can beat Yhwach. I guess the arrow was simply to speed up the process, but it wouldnt be surprising if they changed it in the anime and make Ishida a bigger player as he was meant to be with all the build up.

Haschwalth, Yhwach's second-in command and the Grandmaster of the Sternritter also played a part in Yhwach's final defeat too. During the last time they swapped their powers for the night, Haschwalth foresaw the future where Yhwach would actually be defeated, and managed to make it into a dream so that Yhwach would dismiss that future entirely Apparently Haschwalth's biggest concern and his goal was the survival of the Quincy race as a whole, and felt that Yhwach threatened that goal hence why he suddenly subtle betrayed his master. Yes Haschwalth also foresaw his own death but did nothing to prevent that, as he felt it was a fate he deserved for betraying his master and killing his friend

His persona is dark and sociopathic, verging on insanity. His character was hinted (along with Zeref) since the start of the series, and he literally was untouched untill the "Deus Ex Freindship" at the end. If you don't think he is a good villain I really don't know how to convince you. And I can say almost the same about Madara. He was discretly teased and hyped up since the beggining of the series. He was said to be one of the most powerfull man to ever live, and in his final reveal on the War Arc he shows that by defeating THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE, including the five Kage (that at least in lore should be the greatest ninja alive) and the two protagonists. He was the mind behind pretty much all the events of the anime/manga, until Kishimoto took this from him and give It to "Mr. Black Goo" in the most stupid twist of the century. There's no Naruto without Madara, just as there's not Bleach without Aizen, so I don't know how the most complex and powerfull character in the verse can be called overrated.

Yhwach's only limitation was the one Ichibei called out in their fight. Despite all the power, all the hax, all the amps from borderline eldritch creatures, he was still human. One human with one mind in one place. And his ability to choose outcomes was limited by the range of all possible outcomes he could see in the moment he used his ability. Aizen's ability to cloud that vision is also a good indicator that his human mind is the hard limit on what he can do. What's worse, it isn't that impressive of a mind. The man stole everything he had, never fought for or earned it. In some ways he probably never developed beyond the mind he had as an adolescent. Killing his own men for no reason reminds me of a child breaking a toy that no longer interests him. My guess on the ending is that the power we saw was just spillover that Kazui absorbed. Some fragment of Yhwach's corpse is the current Soul King in the light novels, so he's dead in at least some sense.

That obviously doesn't apply with EVERYTHING, like with Soul Reaper powers, but all of the Quincy abilities he takes were technically his to begin with.

Just remembered something about Ichigo and Orihimme's son, Kazui. Like said he is the son of Orihimme, someone whose power consists of rejecting events (mostly for healing effects), so it wouldn't be too far out to say that Kazui inherited a diferent version of his mother's power, but due to his father, they have a more offensive twist, somehow being able to break the Quincy prophecy of Yhwach's ressurection. This is just something that popped up in my head while you mentioned Ichigo's son and I thought of sharing since we never got any explanation on Kazui's potencial besides he already having a version of his fathers original shikai at such a young age. Well it's not even that Orihime's abilities are defensive in nature; while she certainly uses them as such, that's because of her personality, not because of her powers themselves. She can, in theory, remove someone from existence by rejecting their birth if given time, training, and desire to do so. Kazui could very easily be capable of manipulating this ability to some degree without even knowing it. The problem, though, lies with Yhwach. While Aizen did mention she was potentially capable of even rejecting the gods, that seems more tied to a dropped plotline than the gods, since we see Yhwach's Almighty actually overrides Orihime's rejection of events with Ichigo's broken bankai, as they need Tsukishima to create a false future with Book of the End in order for her power to work on it. At the tender age of four, I doubt Kazui has so much latent talent that he can ACCIDENTALLY surpass his own mother's capabilities by THAT MUCH with the same power. I get the feeling it's a different ability altogether.

It's entirely possible that the reason Ichigo's kid was able to quash Yhwach's soul fragment thing is because his true power hadn't transferred. He may have only regained enough power to transfer himself to *the current future* with some kind of delayed regen, and because of Ichigo's quincy blood and the revenge thing, he appeared in front of the kid...who then instinctually crushed the vestige in the same instant before it could regain any power. Or plot.

Yhwach is a really cool antagonist but he suffers from the same issue Aizen did in that the antagonist had such broken abilities that they had to "forget" that they could use then (or they arrogantly chose not to) because the main character has no reasonable way of countering the antagonist's abilities. Kyoka Suigetsu and Yhwach's massive arsenal are proof of this. Why even give the antagonist these abilities if the main character has no way of dealing with it? I'm fine if Kubo had decided to have another character weaken Aizen/Yhwach to the point where they can't use these abilities efficiently or at all so long as it makes sense or if the main character had simply learned his own hax ability. Something other than "I won't use my OP ability to casually beat you cause I'm arrogant". Usually hax abilities can only be beaten by cleaverness, strategy, exploiting a weakness in said ability, or the opponent having his own hax. Brute forcing your way through a hax ability that should prevent that will always leave a sour taste in my mouth. Yhwach should not have had this many abilities at the end fight. The Almighty alone was ridiculous enough.

I believe that the silver arrow was intended to be use on Gerard who was the "hearth" but he change his mind once he decided to ended

It's not kyoka suigetsu that's OP, it was the hogyoku's amping him which btw is a part of the soul king. And Aizen isn't even top 5 at the last arc. Gerard's immortality and evolution was better and faster since he has the heart of the soul king. Kyoka suigetsu was already useless in a 1v1 against any of the elite sternritters, it will only trick them for a few moments but will do zero damage. How the heck are people even overrating aizen at the last arc, even Ichibei solos aizen hard. Plus the hogyoku is way weaker than the other parts. Aizen was only able to trick ywach for a few seconds and was useless afterwards, and people still overrating him, heck bazz B was able to damage him. He's just temporarily immortal and not permanently, kyoka suigetsu pales hard to some of the hax in the final arc. Also, kyoka suigetsu was only OP at aizen's arc, cause he is fighting non-immortals, but everyone got amped up that they would counter it. Ichigo was more of a threat for ywach and so did uryuu, and I just don't understand, even if you give more boost to aizen, his illusions won't do any damage to the top tiers

bleach will forever be one of those anime where the main character seems like the super op multi-transformation guy, and Ichigo basically is that, but the story is just so well written from the story arcs to the lore as a whole. i really enjoyed reading the final parts of bleach, it got really good edit like over a year later: came back to this and tybw is not nearly as great as i thought it was. sure, it was flashy and cool, but definitely not what other aspects of bleach were. however, despite what i said in my original comment, ichigo's transformations are actually fleshed out and not "train super hard".

Idk why the argument of "omnipotence" is still controversial when the novels state that the Soul King's powers were "near omnipotent" NOT fully "omnipotent". Granted, the current translations are only fan translations so we'll have to wait for the official ones. These characters aren't anywhere near "nigh-omnipotent" or "omnipotent", these phrases are simply used to hype them up as being incredibly powerful. They aren't meant to be taken literally, they are just hyperbole. For a character to be considered nigh-omnipotent he would have to be shown to exist beyond time, space, and dimensionality. Bleach doesn't even touch upon the idea of higher dimensions. He's incredibly powerful, but no where close to being nigh-omnipotent.

Take it like this, an omnipotent being should be able to make a rock so big and heavy to the point where even the said omnipotent being couldn't lift it but seeing as how the omnipotent being cannot lift the rock proves that he is not omnipotent and if he could still lift it that still means he's not omnipotent because he failed to make that rock too heavy for him to lift it.

I once read a fanfic that was about the monsters from before the soul king and the division of the world in three. Like, hollows, quincies and shinigami, everyone in Bleach really, is human or comes from humanity. That fic was about those sentient creatures that were absolutely not humans, that exist outside of life and death and the cycle of reincarnation. You could go for french existentialist philosophy for something like that I think !

all of them have limitation that they never tell anyone, they keep showing off and tell others their abilities to make it seem they have no limitations. ALL of them reached their limitation and died or were defeated due to the shinigami making counter measures before the second attack. Take imagination for example, kenpachi was so much stronger that trying to be even as strong as him exceeded the limitations and killed gremy, the elite guard were all one hit kiled by the sword god too and had to be revived with higher limitations aka more power.
