Loved the video, he didn't even mention Achilles from greece in the trojan war, Benaiah , Joshobeam, Ehud, or Eleazar from the bible, the African King Memnon from the trojan war, or the Aztec warrior was was basically too great of a warrior to die and sent out by the king to repeatable fight his enemies, Even queen Penthisila the Amazonian queen. I hope he does a part two and Puts William Marshall in that one as a previous winner.

Bro Steph curry plays on the warriors….. he’s a “warriors player” shortly known as a warrior…. if you look up greatest warriors of course he’ll show up, the fact that you used that as an example is awful😂

Wrong. ALI IBN ABI TALIB is the greatest warrior after the prophet pbuh of course. Ali actually faced khalid at the battle of uhud when it was 5 against 2000, khalid leading the charge against the prophet pbuh. Khalid was known as a general. His warrior capabilities were limited to very few duels. No comparison

For more than 10000 years mankind fought hand to hand. You’re seriously underestimating the skill the ancients had in martial combat. It’s simply a fact that we are rediscovering what was lost, we aren’t treading new ground in martial expertise.

I’ve just got done rewatching the Anime for the 3rd time, and I’ve read the manga once. And after some thinking, I used to think Light was slightly smarter because he had to outsmart multiple people, but again after watching the show again L is clearly smarter and superior. He had Light back into a corner SOOOOO many times, and if wasn’t for certain characters that died and Light getting MANY bullshit saves at last minute or just plain “luck” saves his ass. First it’s stumbling into Pember’s wife, Having Ryuk to search for things he wouldn’t otherwise see, etc. if it wasn’t for the supernatural ass-pulls he would have been found at the beginning. L did everything right, but the supernatural fucked him over. If it wasn’t for that, L would have won multiple times. Which is why his death was instrumental in Near finding Light.

Sempronius Densus was a centurion in the Praetorian Guard and is remembered by history for his courage and loyalty in singlehandedly defending his charge from scores of armed assassins, while all his comrades deserted or switched sides. Could have been a honorable mention.

Thanks for taking Musashi down a few pegs, I'm sick of everyone fellating that guy! I rolled my eyes when I saw this video appearing on my homepage because I assumed it'd be all East-Asian warriors but it was a pleasant and refreshing surprise! But as a Scotsman myself I think you should have gone with Robert the Bruce instead of William Wallace(also was a bit odd you didn't mention his massive sword similar to Grutte Pier). I don't know if most people know this but he was the actual person who had the title of "Braveheart" and was a lot more heroic than his appearance in the Hollywood film would suggest. Though his methods were definitely pretty morally dubious. The story of him and the spider is nice too! 🕷️ At any rate, I'm a big fan of William Marshal and Khalid ibn al-Walid thanks to you! 👏🎉 They would definitely floor Musashi 1v1! "Flower of Battle" is a cool book also! I learned alot! 💡

Crazy that the reason this isn't about unarmed combat is because we are literally living in the age of the greatest fighters in ths world EVER

@JustinSimard-v8jСағат бұрын
@@Ashalaby987 brother have you ever gone in a cage with a fighter ? Obviously not because you'd know what you're saying makes zero sense. I'm twice as strong as the average guy, I had fought before, Im tough, ive seen my blood before. But when I actually went in there with some of these guys, I saw that it's not about strength, or grit. When you fight unarmed against these guys, you realise that its about none of that. They have such intelligence, and technique. You cant hit them, sometimes you cant even see where they are, theyre so unbelievably proficent it feels lile they have the strength of ten men. And they have that kill or be killed mindset. They literally practice the most brutal competition that is even allowed for a living. Prime jon jones or Ngannou could probably take the three best fighters of all time before 1900 in the same day.

My favorite story about Khalid Ibn Al Walid is how prior to any battle he would offer 1-on-1 combat to the enemy general, with him always choosing himself as his side’s champion. Upon doing this, the enemy general would basically look like a b*tch if they didn’t also choose to be their own side’s champion, and so for like 120 or so battles Khalid would, undefeated throughout, just absolutely slaughter Roman and Persian commanders prior to the battle to the point that they were running out of people to put in charge 😂 It got so bad that at one point a Persian commander agreed to 1-on-1 combat, but said it should happen the next day. In the meantime, he hid ten soldiers underneath the sand of where the duel was to take place. When the duel starts the next day, the ten men pop out from their hiding place in an attempt to ambush Khalid. Khalid clutches the 1v11 long enough for his cousin to rush over on horseback, and within like 30 seconds the two absolutely slaughter the 11 Persians. And of course, they won the battle afterwards too. Khalid Ibn Al Walid is the undisputed GOAT
