I was a chef in fine dining for 17yrs. I worked for some of the best restaurants in my home city. I had to quit 5 yrs ago to pay for my new child as chefs make crap in the states. I hope I can qualify for a skill visa.

Hi there, you'd want to speak with a migration agent. You can book a consultation here pathwaytoaus.com/book-a-consultation/

I’ve been working as a cook in restaurants for years without any educational background. Everything I know about cooking I learned from experience, both at home and on the job. I’ve already cut my teeth in the restaurant industry and I’m only getting better. I’d love the chance to learn more about cooking theory and get the education that will advance my career. Does have on the job experience help me with getting accepted into commercial cookery courses and a student visa?

@@Pathwaytoaus Unfortunately this is a long term plan and I don’t think I’ll be able to start planning for this until next year. But thanks for your reply I look forward to working on this.
