I do the same job as you, usually when something like that happens, you don't keep conversation with the guy who gave you a load, you just call to talk with manager, they usually fix the stuff and they pay something decent to compensate the loss. But that all depends from broker to broker, but pushing back and forth with 1 person won't fix anything just call office, go over managers of them and you can probably pull out something.

Report them to factoring company, credit team and do not go to unload a trailer, tell them that trailer won't be moved if we don't agree on a rate or they can get a small truck with liftgate to unload and reload to the other truck.

Having a company of 10-15 trucks allows u to hire a lawyer or a company of lawyers and u use them for every little think like this. U will get a lot of your money back)

fact that the broker called the driver first, skipping you, is unfair and hides their mistake.Procedure was not respected, too many lies. bar mi tako deluje iz mog vozackog iskustva,izgubis pet dana jer neko nije video praznik,crveno slovo itd.
