How 'Super' Is Our Market? | Supermarket Simulator - Part 2 (Supermarket Manager - Early Access)

Supermarket Simulator continues and we question our status as a 'super' market because we don't really have that great a product range. A couple of shelves and an unstocked fridge, does that make us 'super'? We begin to have an existential crisis!
Things do tick over quite well at the shop and we begin to bring in quite a bit of money which we use to stock up our lovely new fridge and also keep everything else restocked.
There's also a little bot of cash left over to help us expand the shop a little bit! Does that make it any more super? I have no idea!
Also we wonder who is delivering our packages, there's some concern for the future of the Chokipik bear and we make a new friend in Christmas Jumper Guy!
NOTE: This is the Early Access version of the game.

Design your store, optimizing for efficiency and aesthetics. Determine where products are displayed, manage your aisles, and ensure a smooth shopping experience for your customers.
Order stock using an in-game computer. Unpack goods, organize them in your storage room and place them on shelves, fridges, and freezers.
Scan items, take cash and credit card payments, and ensure customers leave satisfied with their shopping and checkout experience.
Navigate the complexities of a real-time market. Buy products when prices dip and determine the best-selling prices to balance customer satisfaction with profit margins.
As you accumulate profits, consider reinvesting. Expand your store's physical space, upgrade interiors, and continually adapt to the evolving demands of the retail world.
In "Supermarket Simulator", every decision matters. Will you rise to the occasion, transforming a modest establishment into a retail powerhouse, all while balancing customer satisfaction, and finances?

When I was a little girl, about 4 years old, my mum would give me a cup of tea & biscuit as soon as I got back in from nursery school to keep me going until lunch. Every so often my mum would make me a really bad tea. I’d drink it but wondered what was up with the tea, it was awful, REALLY bad, so bad it formed in my young memory. But I never told my mum about it as she made really good tea most of the time, she always made it in my Tom & Jerry mug, always remembered the biscuits I liked & little me didn’t want to hurt her feelings. It wasn’t until I was much older that the penny finally dropped & I realised what the “really bad tea” was. I spoke to my mum about my realisation she confirmed that when she ran out of tea she’d give me decaff coffee instead. So whenever I see you play a game & coffee is on the menu somehow (and especially when tea is not available), I like to think of it not as coffee but as just really bad tea instead 😂

Another fun day watching Penge at his supermarket. Your comments and chats to the customers are making me laugh 😂. Also caring so much for jumper guy. However, you do keep missing out the cheaper license for £400 (i think) for peanut butter and other dry goods so no fridge needed.

Fun fact: In Greece, bottled water has a fixed price that is set by the government.

I did not expect to enjoy this series as much as I do, but here I am wishing that the episode doesn't end. I can't wait to see the next one! I'm also so glad that Christmas Jumper guy is okay 😄

This is devilish...but you could up the price of the coffee and make the tea a little cheaper. **mine is an evil laugh** Adendum: That was stunning shelf placement!

Penge with Christmas jumper guy 👀👀- “Sir, sir, please come back to my shop. I’m just following you around the city to personally ensure your safety. No, totally not stalking you. Not at all. I just want to be your best friend, that’s all.” 😅 Loving how your shop is growing and can’t wait to see how far it will go.

Definition of a supermarket - a large self service shop offering food, beverages and household items. It is bigger than a grocery shop but smaller than a hypermarket. So there you go. That makes the difference crystal clear doesn’t it? 😂

You have two shelves for every product but the tea and coffee, but you have two empty shelves. Peng is blowing up my OCD

My thought is he was upset Penge told him it wasn’t Christmas. As soon as Penge said that Christmas Jumper Man looked down at the floor. He was so upset the guy literally crossed the road to avoid Penge the next day.

I'm loving this series.. love this game, got really into it! Find it so addictive and always enjoy watching it! Just a bit of a note, you could set the prices up to maximise profits.. I found multiples of 5 or rounding it to the nearest .25, .50 or .75 and dollar helped with working change out too! So glad you found this game though, looking forward to a tea themed shop with all the different types of tea available!! 🤗💖 xx

I haven't finished the video quite yet, but I would recommend "pre-ordering" your next restock when you're low on funds by loading the items into the cart, and waiting for the funds to roll in before placing the order. Your cart also saves overnight so you can order in the morning.

Like how you're concerned for your neighbors. Maybe save one big box and one little box to move things from one shelf to the other?

It's not the (lack of) number of goods being sold that makes your supermarket super, Penge, it's you 😇 (although the stalking have me worried! lol) PS. In the demo the eggs go on the shelf

if you want a bit more room, move the register right next to the wall and you will have room for more shelves or a 2nd register when the time comes

Consider buying 2 more shelfs and a second refrigerator, so you can have 4 shelve spaces for each shelf place and for fridge stuff. That makes you will not likely run out of stuff in the day and you can just restock in the morning and it will last all day. Only when you reach 2 restockers at lvl 22 you can reduce it to 2 slots pr item again. Also about the cashier guy, he is pretty slow, you need to help him out once in a while, especially in the evening. So don't hire him until you can afford a second register, $500, so you can reduce the que when needed.
