It is a true delight to watch and listen to you teach the wisdom of Taoism and be the one to remind us of the delights of being aware of the body and our senses in order to truly enjoy life. I have been a student of this approach to living for all of my 79 years.... !!!! and still need to be reminded to quiet the overactive mind and return home... Thank you for your joyful approach to all of this!! Mia

I made a declaration to make age 50 to 75 the best years of my life. Getting past comparing to others “success” and letting go of putting on a facade has been so good for me. Others can compare all they want… I am just being present and experiencing. #50to75

I’m 55 and I like your message. Since I turned 50, something fundamentally changed with myself. I’ve never looked back or look forward, but stay in the present, and have been very happy for the last 5 years. The present is a gift, and that is why it’s called the present.

In this wiggly world, I find myself swaying between gooey prickles and prickly goo, and choose to dance while the music is playing all around! I've gotta say, I've learned more from Alan Watts about life than anyone, and keep a colorful painting of him in my room there to remind me. I also have some Alex Grey paintings that serve the same purpose and they go quite nicely together. The first introduction I had to Taoism however, was Bruce Lee, whose philosophy I read back in high school while training in martial arts. "Be like water, my friend," is a timeless quote I will never forget, and I've spent countless hours observing, swimming in, flowing with, and contemplating the innumerable qualities of water and how it is so intricately tied to every aspect of life in this world. I took up nature photography and have long thought water is my favorite subject, because you can watch how it flows, how it reflects bends and warps light, or how it constitutes every ecosystem and living thing within it, and it becomes a perfect analog to how to live well. Last year, I got a camera that does super slow motion and probably have shot hundreds of hours of videos of nothing but ice and water, because I just find it so beautiful. It's like a dance, because I try to get into the middle of the creek and move with the flow in ways that are often unique and created in harmony with the particulars of each scene. The light reflects in ways that make even the tiniest little rapid or droplet look like it's alive and dancing with the light, right up through my lens. I like listening to the Tao de Ching while I'm creating as well, which really brings some interesting insights into the mix! Thanks for this video George, it's beautiful and informative, connecting your life with ancient wisdom and passing it on around the world. I too find Taoism to be the penultimate philosophy and way of life, both for the wisdom and the happiness and contentment it brings to my life, as well as others around me. I find it interesting that the western world forgot much of this for centuries, and you can even see hints of it being rediscovered by western philosophers thousands of years later. And I certainly think it's having a resurgence today, thanks to the likes of Watts, Lee, and now you and I! Keep up the great work my friend!

Hi George greetings from Portugal. I recently tried Tai Chi and Chi Kung for the first time, it gave me the equilibrium and peace of mind I've been searching for. I started martial arts training at the age of 16 in Shotokan Karate and then transitioned to other japanese martial arts. I also did some Muay Thai, Krav Maga and MMA. By triying Tai Chi and Chi Kung I've became more curious about Daoism and I will study more about it for it stands rightly with my life views. Stay safe George and keep up the good work.

I coach this message daily after studying Taoism many years in China and elsewhere. Something tells me it will be a playful journey of self-discovery in summer of 2022? Ponder the possibility, ok?
