How Teams Split CBAs and What It Means For Supercoach

Attempting to show how much each team uses starting mids vs backup mids and how this indicates where supercoach targets may fit and score.

very thought provoking especially in combo with your "Which Mids Are Most Reliant on CBAs?" I'm dubious on bailey smith too, or any geelong mid really. Their mids don't score well if you look over their last 3 years. Scott likes to rotate his mids off the bench and in other positions. I want to see what other position Smith plays when he isn't' playing mid. If it's forward that's going to be an issue.

Best yet Wiz 🤩 Really interesting spreads, not all pass the eye test? Most teams have similar conservative rotations, coaches pick Mature mids: Bris would've had 4 with a fit Ashcroft? Freo reliance on big 3, next wave is Fantasy bounty? (Is this the year that Jackson plays as the big bodied mid?) GC not in Freo's sweet spot, stunting growth? Non-Divergence Port pushing the premiership window (sic) aka Ken's Contract? North, Adelaide not developing talent? 2025+++ fantasy opportunities? Essendon, GWS, Saints plugging gaps Sydney & Geelong sharing with a view to the future? WC & Richmond throwing shit against the wall to see what sticks

I think Collingwood & Melbourne would've had greater concentration in their top Mids but injuries & form forced their hands? Carlton & Hawthorn to a lesser extent, but I suspect Mitchell is the next Bevo, too. Bevo.

@@wizsupercoach I mean circumstances forced more sharing than coaches might have planned? Collingwood & Melbourne would've been a lot more concentrated at the end top end but form & injuries intervened. Also Carlton & Hawthorn to a lesser extent, though I suspect Mitchell is the next Bevo. Bevo.

I forgot to ask what do you think of Dawson? I keep flicking him and out of my team. His kicking was off last season but I think the crows midfield has a lot of mouths to feed now. On SEN they suggestion Neil-Bullion might play on the big body mids this season to free dawson up more.

@@MakeCakeNotWar Got some info coming in upcoming videos regarding Dawson. Still a hard one though because we don’t know how crom mid mix will look with the new guys. I still like the pick but not sold on him either
