How Teiya Kasahara is transforming the world of opera

Teiya Kashara stepped away from opera to find their authentic voice. This short film titled Opera Trans*formed by Leah Borts-Kuperman and Maria Sarrouh looks at the underlining dilemma facing gender non-binary and trans singers working in a field whose roles are rigidly defined along gender lines:" sopranos and mezzos are cast as women (so-called "trouser roles" aside); tenors and basses as men. That was very inspiring, thank you. I myself love Opera aswell since I was a little girl and sang it, hut now my looks with a lots of tattoos all over my arms I think. How can I follow my dreams of been a singer. But I believe God will Intercede for me and make it happen, so I say to you. Hope you made your dreams come true and no worries about the people. You follow your passion for Opera and that's what matters ☺🙏
