Man this is so much better than that Unacademy . They always brag about killer visualisation but those are just some animations one Google search away. This is original intended to help us.

Great explanation! I find it's important to watch many videos on a topic.. Each one covers a different aspect of a subject and provides more info overall.. this one was perfect in that he showed howthe purpose of the main objective lens is to create an image within the focal length of the eyepiece and that acts as the magnifying lens... Excellent!

It was almost perfect! Everything was good until 5:20 when the eyeball is placed touching the eye piece. Instead of tracing the diverging refracted rays coming from the eye piece and into the eye ball leading us to a magnified inverted virtual image we got something else. At the end you are no longer using the rays you started with as the ones captured by the eye. In your drawing the rays you started with hit the bottom of the eye and do not get into the eye. We thus would not see those rays. Could you please correct it? That way I could share this great video!

Sir one doubt, you said the things near the focal length of the magnifying glass (convex lens) can be viewed without any blur. But at last when you use the convex lens to view the moon at starting , how is that you don't get a blurred image there?

Virtual image does not require a surface to form upon. But a real image does. Thus, as we don't have a surface (like a whiteboard or something) when using a magnifying glass, we can only form a virtual image which is adjustable (whereas real image is formed at a certain point) as long as object is between focal point and lens. So, image by magnifying glass is not blur. When using a convex lens to view the moon, the moon is very far away so obviously we cannot adjust lens such that moon is between the focal point and lens to form virtual image. So we will have to make real image. Real image is formed at a certain point. If we don't look at that point, it appears blur.

why d image does not get blurred by using d objective as d object is not within its focus as explained in d very beginning of the video or we r magnifying a blurred image.
