Net sure whether the factory made ropes back in the old days, but on part has the facade with 1899 written on it. So it is more likely that the municipality actually grew around the industrial site...

Adam you have to protect your hair, where the machines are running! It's dangerous to losse the hair and the scalp. The process is very interesting. This is high tech, not like the old hamp ropes :) .
