The Texas Longhorns are entering a new conference this upcoming season, but they don't seem to be too worried about the move. After beating one of the top teams in the conference in Alabama last season, the Longhorns carry a sense of confidence that has been lacking in Austin for quite some time. Can Quinn Ewers and the Longhorns step into the SEC and take over, or will they have some growing pains?

Texas fans don’t care about Horns down. If anything, it’s a compliment. If an opposing team would rather throw up the other teams symbol over their own symbol, you know you’re living rent free in their heads

Most schools don’t have a symbol to throw up. That’s where the horns down comes from. Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, USC, OU, LSU, Alabama, Georgia, Kansas, K State, Ole Miss, Tennessee, and on and on don’t have a hand jesture. Horns up just makes it easy for any opponent to do a visible horns down sign. It’s really not a compliment at all. But of course a Texas fan would think it was because they are kind of dumb…

The SEC is going to be sick of hearing about TX and OU. Both schools aren’t Missouri or Aggies. Both schools actually care about every sport (football more) and winning.
