I'm not sure how it impacted India in any way. Mr. Adani started working with over a $1.50 in hand in the streets of Mumbai and his business and company is robust even with immense debt. He is trying to buy his comperitions using those debt. There is no law saying that you can't buy your own shares to keep the prices. This is usual tactic of public companies. Just think of Rockerfellar family. How many offshore companies and trusts and funds have their money distributed. Another thing to notice is that every nation and their ministers needs entrepreneurs to build a nation. Have Hindenburg invested a single dime in India? They are only known for shorting.
