@@vickiehow- This man isn’t being fully transparent. The question from the legal immigrant about to have a baby, what should she do? --He should’ve explained the 1898 Kim Wong Ark v. The United States case. It challenged the 14th Amendment. His parents were legal residents (Based on a u.s. treaty that approved residency of Foreign workers from China) of the jurisdiction of California in the United States when they birthed Kim. The family returned to China and later Kim tried to return to the United States and was prevented by customs officials stating he was not a citizen. He sued and The Supreme ruled that based on the 14th amendment’s birthright citizenship AND his parents status as legal residents, the plaintiff was considered a CITIZEN regardless of race and nationality. --The challenge from the Trump administration is that the Supreme Court wrote the decision very specifically to the status of the parent being LEGAL RESIDENTS. There is nothing in the ruling that states a foreign national aka illegal alien has rights to citizenship. This meant the decision was not based on British common law. It was based on an American type of common law. This was new for the court.

One of the traits of Donald Trump is that he never gives up and counts on his detractors to give up. That's how he wins. I'm an epigeneticist environmental well-being and helped 2k with serious illnesses. I heard a geneticist on a trusted pod today. Genetics sees at least 6 forms of sex genes. That is sex not gender. Pure biology. Epigenetics could look at the child's gender that is how the environment impacts the expression of their sex genes. So I see its a both/and issue. And we could easily check genes now. Or the child could choose based on how they feel.

His conviction will be overturned on appeal. He wasn't given due process. He wasn't allowed to exercise his 1st Amendment right because of such a broad gage order. The law had already passed the statute of limitations, Trump's expert was not allowed to testify as an expert. The judge allowed details into the trial beyond the scope, the judge and his daughter had a financial motive for Trump to be convicted, Liberal NYC was no place for a fair trial. RICO to revitalize a dead case on a former president is absurd. I can't wait to see what the appellate court says. It may be Merchon spending time in prison.

No- there are evil ideologies that should not be allowed to be expressed. A nazi salute in Australia will get you arrested and that is how it should be. There should be zero support or allowing of people to express their support of genocide and an evil regime.

The government had overwhelming evidence of criminality long before it even started investigating Trump. He was protected and given the benefit of the doubt at every possible turn. There was injustice done there, only in how well he was treated by the DOJ.
@smurfette150910 күн бұрын
I'm not sure what you mean by "train on," but I'm going to assume you are confused why there seems to be more focus on Cheney than on Trump. So why is that? Because Cheney doesn't appear to have done anything wrong, but Trump has. To me, the most obvious example of this is his own words during the phone call to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. I'm not a lawyer, but I couldn't possibly listen to that call and think that nothing was wrong. His words were a threat to the results of a legitimate election. He carried the power of the presidency, and it's scary that someone in such an extraordinary role can pressure someone to "find" votes that were already counted, just so he could win. The fact that Trump hasn't faced more severe consequences might be due to various factors, including legal complexities and political dynamics. It's important to hold all individuals accountable for their actions, regardless of their position. Additionally, there were allegations of an inappropriate relationship among prosecutors in the Georgia case, which may have complicated the proceedings

Let's think birthright citizenship and the pro-life cause. They are deeply bound up with each other, and they are deeply connected to the Fourteenth Amendment which is about Equality Under the Law. So birthright citizenship does not proclaim that persons pop into existence at birth. It is about the way persons relate to the land, as in "This Land is Your Land, This Land is Your Land." By its nature it cannot exclude the unborn. The Fourteenth Amendment defends the right to life, property and liberty in such a way that there is no alienating such rights outside of due process. This does not exclude that there are difficult cases and therefore women have rights with respect the question of abortion which are deeply routed and also that the medical profession has its place according to the principle of subsidiarity in guiding discernment of difficult cases. This is far from saying that the unborn have no rights. On the contrary it shows how rights work at a fundamental level and how due process works and what due process means. Roe rightfully affirms a right of privacy, of intimacy of making intimate decisions as regards abortion. This is not however a right to abortion. it is a right of reproductive freedom, it is part of reproductive freedom. Reproductive freedom belongs to the Culture of Life and not to the Culture of Death. The Culture of Life is not at loggerheads with equality and equality under the law.
