This is what I am doing. Retired 3 months ago, and just turned 58. I am managing my income to remain eligible for ACA subsidies, and also doing some Roth conversions. Keeping my income around 40k as a single filer is working for me. I recently enrolled for 2024, getting a bronze plan with no premium, but high deductible.

So I'll retire at 62 nxt year but will have no taxable income till I take ss at 65.. only income is roth distributions all tax free can I qualify for aca or csn I get medicaid?
