How the AWACS Keeps Us Safe

The E-3 Sentry is a modified Boeing 707/320 commercial airframe with a rotating radar dome. AWACS is equipped with an integrated command and control battle management, or C2BM, surveillance, target detection, and tracking platform. The aircraft provides the Joint Air Operations Center with an accurate, real-time picture of the battlespace. Over the next four decades, the E-3 has played a vital role in almost every military conflict due to the aircraft being flown by both the US Air Force and NATO Alliance Forces. As Ukraine reclaims land in its conflict with the invading Russians, it is evident that western information, notably the comprehensive image provided by the AWACS, has been a crucial factor in their victory. The Air Force in April 2022 chose the Boeing-made Wedgetail to be its next battle management and command and control aircraft, replacing part of its aging E-3 Airborne Warning and Control fleet.

How to array wilth one, two, three, four.? Why/when passive/active.? Why pair F16-viper with F15.? HARM climb to 50'000 and lose range because... Viper upside down, 30deg-30deg swing, as multi-angle with forward-vector. Array is radar AESA front (not needed), what about movement.? What about spine and paks.? What about pilot red-faced.? Oops.

Pendulum(plus air-bouyancy when 30deg bank-roll) is large center-tank and outer pylon 2x sparrow-sized missiles (maybe borrow cheap from Himars) with wing-tip 2x small missiles (maybe borrow upgraded fire-and-forget from apache because need the radars of missiles as antennae and add into the ... weapons-systems WPS and-not fire-control FCS). No-block line-of-sight antennae-radar load-out.

Scanning done by ground-based, seperate antennae from radar, blast-radius 250lb seperation distance as minimum, to attract HARM. Who active = you. Top is passive satellite, private-jet awac, maritime, your-airlines, viper, ... bottom is HARM-platform F15 2x- engines to carry-more, naval-vessels, ground vehicles, ... only you go active. When load HARM, never go active. HARM can be go 160deg for 20km before hunt, hunt before lock, lock before arm, arm before laugh. Line-of-sight = my foot.
