Very intelligent young man. Nice to see people his generation being conscious about how society really works. I hope he gets his message through his comedy. And by the way, I worked in a collapsed bank where all the board of directors quit after collecting great severance packages and after the bank was baked out, and I thought as Josh... they should be forced to stay till it got fixed, even if it meant sitting at a desk staring at the wall for every working hour.

when I moved to America I was shocked by the ads for medications "Ask your doctor if this medication is for you" . B1tch! If I have to ask my doctor if I need that meds, I'm at the wrong doctor. My doctor should know from the get go if I need it or not. And if I have to ask for it I should charge the doctor for the visit because I'm doing their jobs
@stillhere1425
@stillhere1425 Ай бұрын
As overwhelming as the med ads are, they are a net positive. They spread the word about the HPV vaccine, educating the public that the virus is the leading cause for cervical cancer--not common knowledge before. There are HIV prevention meds we could only have dreamed possible in the 80s, and the frank approach of the ads to the idea of gay or casual sex encourages safer behavior as well as inspiring pharmaceutical companies to put money into developing new drugs for a formerly hidden market. Doctors can't know everything, and they're not immune to influence by sales reps, so if they suggest a medication, it's not necessarily because it's the best option. You might see an ad for a medication that potentially addresses your issue better than one you're taking. You can research it, decide to talk to your doctor about it, and you both are a little bit better educated.

Really enjoy your comedy. I do just want to mention that Dave Calhoun is a terrific CEO. He was our CEO at the Nielsen Company and he more than double the value of our company by doing very savvy moves. The trouble with Boeing started long before Dave got there, and the troubles goes so deep with so many people all the way down to the personnel who build the aircraft. The biggest blunder, producing the 737 Max was already done before Dave. That plane was scheduled to be retired and should have been replaced by a new design but to save money they decided to Frankenstein engineer the 737 which should have never happened. Dave has had to make very tough decisions but he is honest, ethical and makes extremely good decisions. That CEO chair was cursed and it could've been a lot worse with anyone else.

Koolaid is the only known man-made ingredient that can neutralize a Hotpocket burn. Heard a guy screaming like a banshee the other day. He had Pocket burns on the side of mouth and down his chest. I sprung into action with my pre-mixed Koolaid in a Stanley cup (robbed it off a white girl in NY). Not to toot my own horn but I think I might have saved a life that day.

FWIW, it was Flavor-Aid, not Kool-Aid Which makes you wonder, does Kool-Aid mind that their brand got linked to an atroctiy, or is it more a "there's no such thing as bad publicity" thing?

Holy shit, the build on that Boeing door joke has me dead. For a second, everyone takes the "You matter" as inspiration, like it's good to hear these comforting words of affirmation. And then as he goes on, it starts getting a bit too real, and the crowd is starting to get uncomfortable like he's hitting too close to home. We're all starting to get emotional, a guy tries to laugh it off because he can't handle the silence...then the punchline lands and it is this massive comedic release. I haven't seen a joke so well executed in years.
