The white support is so true. I had to go and confront my stepmom's landlords who were trying to evict her while she was in the hospital. The look on their faces when I walked in with my white male friend was hilarious. And they had the nerve to ask me who he was like I had to give them an answer. He was perfect because he didn't say anything. He let me do all the talking and just sat there to throw them off. It was beautiful.

Eh..not really though because it became more like a Ted Talk than a comedy special after a while…and that is never a good thing for a comedy set. Now if a Ted Talk has some humor in it..that’s great! Teach me something and help me stay interested in the process. The opposite though? I came to laugh, not be hit with a lecture. Also, if you hear more clapping than laughing, it stops being comedy. Not saying that was an always the case here, but a few parts remind me of comedy sets where the entire thing is people clapping….which is WEIRD at a comedy set!

Basically went "Hey, I like sex and for me it adds a level of intimacy. That said if/when we do have sex will be your choice and I'm not going to bring it up until you tell me because I don't want you to feel pressured." At some point she was being very "spicy" and I said "If I didn't know better I would think you're propositioning me." she replied "What do I need a written invitation?" I laughed and said "That WOULD BE NICE!" My wife loves how much I'm into consent... I knew a lot of women who aren't, but I didn't marry them!

It’s true. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints living in South Africa, I had couple of friends who came from Utah and Idaho who were doing missionary work in some of our dangerous townships. These guys would get mugged and talk about the whole experience as some kind of a milestone achievement or something.😅 This one time, we had this white missionary from Utah who was paired up with a black Zimbabwean. They got mugged in a township called Umlazi, in Durban. They were taken to the Police station to report and open a case. While there, the American missionary was busy smiling and taking pictures of his bloody forehead. He couldn’t wait to send those pictures home and tell his friends of his “cool experience”.

You’re a human, you should be treated as such no matter what. Anyone who doesn’t respect you, disrespect them 1000% times without needing anyone’s help!

I've never seen a set where the comedian was really funny and clarified his position responsibly along the way. Great!!

6:10 - 7:30 Am I the only one who noticed how uncomfortable the audience was at the “Jews/Escape Room” joke but how easily they laughed at the “Blacks/Bondage-and-Chains” joke? Reminds me of Denzel Washington recounting how a group of (Jewish) Hollywood execs thought it’d be hilarious in a movie to depict racist whites trying repeatedly and unsuccessfully to hang a Black man, but when Denzel flipped the script and asked them how they’d feel if the character was Jewish and it was a gas chamber, the execs clutched their pearls and didn’t think that was comedic gold. Just goes to show how we continue to be conditioned to accept laughing at the pain of certain groups and not others.
