No doubt Derrick White will be the starting PG over Brogdon. He’s simply the better overall player and he was the Celtics 3rd best player throughout last year. He was averaging 5.6 assists in SA before he got traded and he was playing with Murray, Keldon Johnson and Jakob Poeltl. He can certainly average 6+ APG with Tatum, Brown and KP, plus his defense is significantly better and Brogdon is less of an injury concern as the backup. I’m also quite confident Rob Williams will start over Al, but that is much closer than White/Brogdon.

Yeah, Horford is going to the bench. He's 37, making only 10 million vs 28 last year, and his fit next to Tingus isn't as good as Rob, both bigs will be able to float around the baselines and be a devastating rim presence combined.

yeah derrick is just better as well he was easily the best shot blocking guard in the nba last year and having a 2nd team all defense player with that much offensive depth is really nice for the celtics.

Ok I'm not even a Celtics fan, not a Celtics hater but out of the big market teams that have won multiple championships since the NBA began, they are the only team I would kind of root for, I'm a Utah Jazz fan and they gave us Danny "Fleece" Ainge, and our wonderful Head Coach the Young Genius Will Hardy. But it's clear by seeing the Boston Roster that they absolutely do have the most LOADED roster right now anywhere in the NBA. And if I was a betting man I would pick ☘️ Boston for the win.

Terrible pick up ask L.A. ? John Wall is a older delusional player who is a ball stopping shoot first PG and still considers himself a number #1 option on a team, this is why I say delusional plus he has had some unfortunate but horrific injuries and I don't believe he would be a good locker guy. I could be wrong , this is just what I've heard and seen over the course of his career

They just lacked consistency. If Udoka was still HC they wouldve probably made it to the finals. They got coaching diffed way to many times. Mazzula is offensive minded, and lived/ died by the 3, while it also being his first HC job. Talent alone got them too the ECF, but thats not enough. They surrounded Mazzula with a LOT of experienced coaching staff so now theres no excuses

Could it be said that if Boston is unable to make it to the NBA finals and i think win it, that Jason Tatum might not be considered A TRUE number # 1 scoring option, to be A top 5 winning player in the NBA you have to be able to win a championship and also means that you have to be cOnsidered the primary reason that your team won the chip as well. Imo

They’ve entered their primes come this next season and have had enough talent in 2020, 2022, and 2023. No more excuses, they’re bout to be two of the top paid players ever in the sport. They don’t deserve the excuse of not having a playmaker, Derrick white is good enough. Yes, and those turnovers did not help also. This coming season Joe needs to emphasize more ball movement ...their core of Tatum, Brown, Kristaps need touches to get into a rhythm. I hope those 3 plus White get an opportunity to work out together during the off season. KP will soon be playing in the World Cup competition for Latvia.
