I do think the success of The Cheetah Girls influenced the success of High School Musical and helped The Disney Channel be a major success during that phase.

This was such a well thought analysis. I loved Disney channel growin up in the 00’s. People seem to forget that Cheetah girls literally paved the way and opened doors for the network as a whole. Decendants, Hannah Montana, Camp Rock & HSM all exist vector the cheetah girls movies. Also Raven is the true queen & pioneer of Disney Channel

The cheetah girls is my favorite trilogy of Disney channel. I always said they paved they way for high school musical, camp rock and descendants. They set the foundation I think they should remake it so that the legacy can continue

THIS! People really want to credit HSM for starting the Disney Channel musical phenomenon like TCG wasn’t the blueprint 🙄 Raven and Adrienne ATE DOWN in the first two films! Not one movie is outdoing TCG in my opinion!
