It's more about the motivation of the players and coaches more than the talent. Vic Fangio may want this game more than anyone else on the team. He will be the reason we win this game. Look into why it means so much to him and you will understand.

The best way to help Slay and Q is pressure. Let’s face it the Chiefs run their offense out of necessity to keep Mahomes from getting hit. It doesn’t matter if you have speed on the outside if you’re quarterback doesn’t have time to step up and throw. Q and slay should just need to hold up long enough to make Mahomes look away from them and hopefully by that time the pressure is on

The Chefs throw short routes where the ball is out of the QB’s hands quickly, leaving too little time for the pass rush to get there. Tight coverage is a must, so he has to hold the ball - that gives the pass rush more time to get the pressure to force him throw it away or get the sack.

The Defensive line has to be disciplined in the pass rush and run. In the pass they have to not give Mahomes any escape lanes inside or outside. Mahomes will hurt you with his feet just as good as Daniels or Jackson. Make the Chief have long drives instead of short drives to score. The Eagles defensive ends have to play smart and always keep outside containment. They can't go chasing down the line of scrimmage because either Mahomes is keeping the ball to run outside. Or they're doing a misdirection play that's come back their way. Defensively, The Eagles also must be tough on the run

Pretty much. But there's nobody better than KC at going counter-tendency. We won't know 'til Sunday how KC's D will match up against Saquon. The best way to stop any running back is to be on him before he's out of the gate. I think it may be similar to the last meeting in that KC will basically dare Hurts to win the game with his arm and his legs. That dare won't matter if they can get Saquon going, regardless. I think KC's going to put their outside corners on an island, quite a bit, and always try to have an extra hat or two bearing down on Hurts and Saquon. On the other side of the ball, the key for KC is to get the quick passing game going. They need to offset the dominant pass rush I expect from the Eagles. I can see it coming down to dink and dunk, per usual, but if anybody has new wrinkles to roll out to which regular-season and postseason film and stats will bear no relation. That's the wild card in this matchup. KC probably has more hidden cards to play. Will it be enough? Like the last time they met in the SB, Philly looks like the more dominant team.

You never go on what happened in other games. They're different games and different circumstances. chiefs had guys miss games to injuries, they had a weak starting left tackle problems that they have now fixed. I understand fans try to stand back and come up with different angles to why their team will win, but you can't. Sunday's game will stand on its own. Whatever team is most disciplined from start to finish, executes, adjust faster, and keeps turnovers to minimum will win.

My fear when it comes to this game, is that the officials will show their proclivity to call certain penaltiers in favor of a certain team. That's a big reason why this team won SUper Bowl LVII, a certain cornerback grabbed a receiver's jersey for not very long, and it drew a defensive holding penalty. Yes, it was a penalty, but much worse had been done against receivers on bith sides earlier in that game with no flags being thrown. That penalty allowed this certain team to hold the ball for another set of downs, milking the clock and giving their oponent no time to mount a comeback, causing a 3-point win for the certain team.

Mahomes is 3-0 vs #1 defenses in the playoffs. Averaging 310 yards pg, 2.5 Tds pg, 49 rush yards pg. The Chiefs haven't needed to put up 30+ this year and could have multiple times but instead knelt it out. The one time they needed it, they got it. People are sleeping on this offense. Juju, Dhop, Hollywood, Kelce, and X, Mahomes has NEVER has this many weapons. Chiefs like to win without putting a lot on tape, they will bring some looks that haven't been seen this year and they will score.
