One of the reasons I love your videos is that you show the love, dedication, skill,preparation and labour intensity that goes into making food we love and a lot of the time never think twice about when we buy it. It looks like 3 generations preparing, cooking and serving here (and I love a good fish cake) I'm definitely going to try Ah Boon out in fact this Telok Bangar centre looks really good I have not been there before so I'll put this centre on my "Places to go" list and I would not have known about it if you had not done a series on the hawkers here. It is delightful to watch the making of fish cake. A unique chinese cuisine that is difficult to made as it is tedious. Luckily for Ah Boon, the younger generation is taking over the trade and keep the family business alive.

Yes. it is just a based paste. From the video there is lot of mixing which was not shown fully.
